FORZA POLPO!
I’ve been helping to beta test this and the experience has been an absolute blast, even in its early access state. Great replayability and the controls/mechanics have been well-tuned. It reminds me a lot of the PS1 Jumping Flash series from back in the day. Buying copies for all my friends and family members this season.
Go go Polpo!!!

Forza Polpo is a delightful first-person platformer. Excellent controls and nuanced movement make the varied stages a blast to explore, encouraging you to scour every nook to improve your score. The world is dripping with charm and a striking visual flair making it instantly memorable, and the music is great. There are, of course, comparison to be made with Jumping Flash, but even in its early access state, the mechanics of Forza Polpo are far more refined, and it has enough ideas of its own to stand out as a unique and engaging game in its own right.

Cloudbuilt
This game is absolutely stellar. I doubt I will play anything better this year, or perhaps even in years to come.
First and foremost, this game grants the player absolute control over the character. The movement is fast and responsive, and the more you learn about the game, the better you can maneuver, to the point where you can do things you never would have thought possible at first. This sense of control is absolutely wonderful because I can apply both my reflexes and timing as well as my puzzle-solving skills to the level in front of me. The level design features branching paths that allow you to tackle the level many different ways, and give the player a sense of exploration. Will you go the easier and slower path, take more difficult shortcut, or will you look for the perfect jump to create your OWN shortcut? The game also allows you to place your own checkpoints, and unlike They Bleed Pixels, they actually mean it, meaning that you get to tackle the level before you on your own terms without compromising the difficulty.

So close…so very very close. This would have been a GOTY contender for me but it slips and wobbles
hard
I’ll start with the good: Cloudbuilt is basically Sonic Generations. Remember boosting to beat your time and precision, quick twitch platforming within a level that has multiple pathways? It’s here. Maybe the budget isn’t, but the excitement and speed definitely is. As is the creativity, only difference here is levels have more vertical movement and therefore aren’t as fast, but the idea is the same.

Mineirinho Director’s Cut
I have personally beaten the current GDQ speedrun. Through sweat and work this game is competitive and I think this game’s potential as a much bigger game could expand out as not just as DLC, but as a game. They should make a sequel or prequel for all that matter. Some say this game is a joke but if you put in the time you too can become great. If the developers put time into making and polishing another game I have some Ideas as for a sequel. This game in its masterpiece has become a great part of many’s lives. Now I haven’t been to Dom Zellitus But I can tell you for sure that they could expand in Mineirinho’s Adventures and can come up with some good Ideas.

This game is a masterpiece. After 6.5 hours I’ve beat this game.
The games camera is astonishing. The way they made it follow your character without you having to control it is impressive. Another thing is the movement. I love it. This is a game of the future.
Also, this game is great for speedrunning. The techniques and the skill is crazy.
The game is easy to understand but hard to master. A perfect balance. New players will have a tough time going through level one but experienced players will go through it like a breeze.

Honkai Impact 3rd
TWO IMPORTANT THINGS I WISH I KNEW ABOUT AT THE START:
- On the home screen, there is a green button at the bottom called “Starter’s Event”. Clicking that will bring you to a hub that will lead you to your daily logins and objectives to complete. The most important tab is “Path to Greatness”. Completing objectives will lead to more pages of objective and by the end you will have a solid set of characters, weapons, stigmatas and resources. Pressing the yellow “Go!” buttons will bring you directly to the tab you need to complete said objectives. (it could be captain level locked, so just keep running story missions to get exp until it shows up).

A port of a mobile game, with all the jank that comes with it.
The level gating that you start coming across at around level 25 is a constant showstopper annoyance, stretching what would be an actually really good & reasonably length’d bayoneta style game into a weeks-long stretch between said cool content. The controls with the menu are also quite bad with a controler. I wouldn’t even deign to find out how it works with KB/M.
But ya know, I could deal with all that, if I could at least bring my existing lvl56 account into the steam version.

TASOMACHI: Behind the Twilight
Wandering in Eastern Paradise
Tasomachi is a short story of a lone traveler named Yukumo on the way to To-en, eastern continent. Unfortunately, the twilight fog causes serious damage to her airship as she is forced to land on nearby town. She is requested by feline-like inhabitant to search for “Source of Earth” to recover the town and repair her airship.

Reflections on the Aesthetics of Tasomachi
Ever since I first saw Nocras’s concept art for his game, Tasomachi: Behind the Twilight, I felt excited by his vision of a cityscape set in a fictional Far Eastern world. After much anticipation of the game’s release, I am glad to say that Tasomachi aesthetically does not disappoint. His aesthetic vision is realized in the world of Tasomachi, a beautiful, mysterious world to explore and behold. Set in a town enveloped by a strange fog and abandoned by its human inhabitants, Tasomachi introduces a lone girl who finds herself stranded when she crash-lands in her hot-air balloon. She then sets out to discover the town and uncover its mysteries. The story is extremely minimal at best, but it provides the setup to freely roam the urban environment and appreciate the cityscape without the bustle of human life.

Highly recommended based on concept alone. Sure, it’s short and controls don’t always feel precise (specifically when bouncing on enemies), but with a great soundtrack and dreamscape ambience coupled with intriguing platforming elements that leave little margin for error, there doesn’t exist a worthwhile 3D game quite like it: If nothing else, play it for the very last level of the game, which is exhilarating enough on its own to warrant a purchase at a discount price.

Miasma Caves
The gameplay of Miasma Caves is very simple: Explore a cave, find treasure, escape alive to sell said treasure in town, repeat.
The Cons:
-
No Automap (for an exploration game this is a huge drawback)
-
Intermediate cave levels are a bottleneck in difficulty (rocks fall, everybody
diesfaints) -
Not much of a story
-
A few minor bugs
The Pros:
-
Over 150 different treasure items of 4 different categories
-
Town can be developed
-
A lot of variety in available tools, which allows for different approaches of exploration.

I have played enough Miasma Caves to recommend it. You play a dragon-lady who spelunks a procedurally-generated cave in search of treasure and you’re a pacifist, so that means that you don’t attack any of the monsters inside. But you still can get hurt (such as from cave-ins, and falls, and the titular miasma), and there’s still a challenge in seeing how far you can go whilst getting out alive! It’s a fun game and I recommend it to anyone, especially those who loved Leila “Woofle” Wilson’s soundtrack in Freedom Planet; some of the greatness in that soundtrack is carried over in this game.

1- for the price i paid, the content + level consider is rich.
2- H scene is okay-ish good, varied scene like bathroom, toilet and other places
2a- Inner Voice mechanic is GOOD voice acting!! too bad got some little bug need to iron out or else it will freeze the looping animation sometimes.

If you saw my review for the 1st game, i asked for more replay value… This is it.
This game has soo many stuff to unlock and i can’t wait for future updates if they add any new content!
Now let me explain in detail what i mean:
So i already played the demo before launch so i was already impressed for what they added, but now when this launched, i kept getting amazed on the new stuff there is! It has soo much XXX scenes i couldn’t even count. (Compared to the 1st game) You do have galleries but is unlocked after upgrading the hometown, only thing missing for now is a “Zombies/Monster attack animation” gallery, but you got cutscenes and death scenes available.
