Breakneck City
One of the reasons I love Steam is I keep finding games I didn’t know I need. I feel that developers loved the Dynamite Deka series and wanted to create a similar game but in a Double Dragon mold. The gameplay handles well with a controller and the boss fights have real character. One sword wielding foe tosses one of his blades in air to free up his hand and spit a fireball across the screen. Small touches like this indicate a love for the genre.

A fantastic throwback to 3D beat ‘em ups, a genre that is woefully undeserved given that we mainly throwbacks to 2D beat ‘ems ups that are inspired by the likes of Final Fight or Streets of Rage rather than games following the Dynamite Deka or Spikeout lineage.
Combat is pretty simple, there’s no Devil May Cry style move list, but the fundamentally solid basic attacks and a great feeling dash combine with top notch level design, clever environmental interactions, dynamic enemy types make for a really fun time.

Taekwondo Demonstration Team Simulator
You get your money’s worth just for having access to all the poomsaes being executed by these cool characters.
The game itself is actually overly simple but it’s still cool if you like Taekwondo.

9 Monkeys of Shaolin
A great, modern beat em up that dared to be different instead of relying purely on nostalgia and making a carbon copy of already existing games. This game is basically everything I wanted Streets of Rage 4 to be.
Positives:
-
Decent story. (Not that stories in a beat em up ever mattered)
-
Very fluid and satisfying gameplay. When you get the hang of the mechanics and skills, you can do some awesome combos, linking the different attacks and abilities together. The fact that you can attack in 360° instead of being forced to a 2D pane doing only left/right attacks is a welcome change. There is a bit of ‘automatic lock on’ for the moves to help with this, but you still feel in control of the character. Sending enemies flying and watching their rag-doll bodies fall/smash against the environment is never not satisfying.

9 Monkeys of Shaolin is a beat em up about a chinese fisherman/monk fighting the japanese pirates with a staff.
The main appeal is the satisfying, fluid and responsive combat. It has good skill expression with three different attacks that later get upgraded each with two different stances, a 360 degrees parry skill that requires good timing and can reflect enemy projectiles back at them and a dodge. Once you upgrade the attacks, you can fly across the screen with a kick and feel like a real Shaolin monk jumping and weaving attacks between multiple enemies. The use of magical seals disrupts enemies in an area that in my opinion make the game too easy even on the hardest difficulty. The enemies have a visual indicator, a brief shining light and take some time to execute their attack which usually makes them easy to defeat one on one. The only unfair element is sometimes ranged enemies shoot you from outside the screen. You will fight them in small groups in a locked zone until you defeat them and new enemies that need to be approached in a different way are introduced progressively. Finishing off the last enemy in a locked zone comes with a satisfying blow and slow motion.

Warrior Beneath Heaven
Alright so, this is a special kind of game that most may not be into since it is not 100% complete. It definitely needs updates and more balance.
However, I still enjoy this game. I am a huge fan of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon films and Hero etc. This game reminds me of that wuxia wushu art style.
I feel confident that it will improve over time.
Yes I recommend Warrior Beneath Heaven ! Buy It!!

Very good. u should get this game, its cheap Fighting game with QUICK,BADASS combat and cast more a dozen unique characters. There is even a knight character from Bulgaria..(My personal fav is the dude Yu YuanJin and the Tibetan guy)r with the ReallThe game thas very nice story and teaches u real life history facts about China at the time the silk road and related territorys. I prefer this game much better than vast majority of modern games both High budget and indie coming from the west.I hope to see more Chinese games on this platform & Also really hopin one day there will be Thousands of games from India) These people relaly know how to make things BADASS , Epic & Right . instead of Female protagonist SJW weird anime girl zoomer crap etc that is present in nearly all western releases..

Mighty Fight Federation
I feel like I should have spent more time with this game than I did before writing my review previously.
I have taken more time to play this on my own and at a friend’s house and I have a really different feeling right now.
Graphics -
I did have qualms on the character models and animations previously. I thought they didn’t mesh well with each other like they looked modeled with really different direction. I thought the animations were stiff and awkward.
After some time looking at everyone a little more, I do see a cohesive nature that actually does tie the majority of the cast together aesthetically, bar two. L.exe and Originelle. I think they could use some work with a re-design, but they really don’t fit.

This is a high thumbs up from me. I’ve played some matches online (with a friend who bought the game with me) and played a bit of the arcade. The online was rock solid for us, no lag or dropping out so far.
Before getting to the positives (paragraphs below, it’s been by far mostly positive), I will mention the obvious about early access titles: it’s a work in progress still and some things don’t feel quite ready yet, otherwise this would have been a final release. This is, of course, true at the time of writing this for Mighty Fight. The quit menu doesn’t always work (I used alt+F4 to exit because esc didn’t bring it up) and the arcade mode is not yet saving progress, assuming that’s intended for the final release. The online worked very well during the fights for us, but the menus weren’t clearly telling us who was selecting what character and level. Most importantly though, the Strikefist ai is way better than me, and this needs to be fixed! (/s I eventually won).

Sumotori Dreams Classic
Sumotori Dreams is perhaps a perfect example of a cult classic video game.
It has a small but very passionate player base. It’s a game about four Sumo wrestlers - the Blue Guy, Grey Guy, Brown Guy, and Green Guy. All you have to do is push the other Sumo guys over before they get you. That’s it. Usually, doing nothing is the key to victory. All with a comedic intoxicating effect. Just walking around is a challenge.
Originally released in 2007, Sumotori Dreams has endured, now with this shiny new release. In this Classic edition, it runs smoother than ever before, with everything functioning as it should - plus a very welcome addition of an in-game mod loader.

surprised this game made it on here finally, now we can enjoy the bricky sausage like limb physics.
it also comes with map modding support for people who didn’t know and looks like this version has had some work done on it to enhance it for newer specs
