Shoot To Kill
SHOOT TO KILL is a single player retro FPS inspired by the violence and pace of shooters of the past. Harkening back to the violence of F.E.A.R. and visceral gore systems of the Soldier of Fortune games, all taking place in a brutalist neo-futuristic setting.
Take on hordes of soldiers and experiments created by an authoritarian military group in the dystopian future of 2140. A new World War is beginning to unfold. It is now up to you and your skills as a combat expert to eradicate the authoritarian ANKERKORP, and save everyone you love.

SAMURAI SHODOWN
This port is garbage…
Everyone will talk about the netcode, and how’s it’s not good and yeah that’s true, I mean, it’s not unplayable to be honest, but the lack of good netcode in 2021 is just pathetic… BUT that’s not the worst of it, the worst of it is how REALLY bad the port is.
So… first of all, it just doesn’t run very well, you’ll experience crashes and freezes here and there. Oh, you need to be always on-line to play, even if you just wanna play solo stuff, like the lackluster story mode.

Gameplay: Fantastic if a slower paced fighter is what you’re looking for
Everything else: Horrible. I thought I knew what I was getting into since it’s well know the netcode is bad, but my expectations were truly shattered. I’m not gonna go into how badly SNK handled the release over different storefronts again as that is known well enough.
- Game won’t even start without an internet connection, effectively making it useless when I want to bring it for an offline gathering on my laptop. This alone is unacceptable already. Once more pirates actually get a better service than paying customers.

Really nice environment visuals make up for a fairly generic wave-based shooter with some tech issues. All trees and roughly half the bushes shift in the wind, and ambient forest audio makes this feel more like a walking sim than a shooter.
Enemy character models are nice but often repeated as there’s not a large selection of them - three shoot fireballs and energy bolts though which is pretty neat. The procedural environments aren’t truly procedural, as they loop around you meaning you’ll encounter dropped loot from previously killed enemies but no bodies. Weapon drops are fairly hard to find, but usually located in or near points of interest worth exploring like abandoned gas stations and even a crashed UFO.

Escape The Labyrinth
Had some major issuses with no cursor lock, was constantly clicking off the game. Would have to alt tab many times to get control of my player again at the start of an attempt.
It seems rather enjoyable, and makes you want to explore, but its pretty impossible to currently.
EDIT
I have gone back to play since after the offical release. I am pleased to say they have actually adressed conerns and fix these issues. They have even added more atmophereic elements to the game, which make it seem much more creepy and give somewhat of an understanding to the game. There is a leader board so you can compare how you play against others, as this game is not easy.

Line of War
A dollar game you can play for half an hour
Are you an RS2 player? Do you find yourself repeating the voice line “I can smell ya from here, Charles” in your everyday life? Do you like the idea of gunning down dozens of innocent Viet Cong soldiers with a hand-portable Gatling gun?
Then Line of War is probably decent for you. As far as I can tell you’ve only got three levels to play of varying complexity (Level two hits different, tbh). There’s really not much to say besides that this is a doom clone for Vietnam War buffs, or just chuds who like shooting communists. So, yeah.. Buy at your own discretion.

Painkiller: Recurring Evil
This is not a bad expansion by any means! (I’m looking at you Resurrection). Therefore, why I would put a negative review? In this case I want to review this game saying it’s not a bad game but even thinking that I simply can’t fully recommend it!! This game is correct. It does what it’s need.
Gameplay wise it’s good action. The new soundtrack it’s metal and really awesome!! I think it’s the better soundtracks of the expansions and that’s saying a lot. I think even if it is more “metal agro” it’s really amazing. There are only five maps and excluding map 5 the others are forgettable. It takes the horde formula of Redemption and continues it. This gives really good maps when we talk about gameplay. Level 1 is okay for first level. Levels 2-4 are the real deal. Pure chaotic gameplay and a really good challange! The game is a correct farewell to this whole series but at this point of the series I think it really doesn’t innovate on anything. As a result, I can’t recommend it! I would recommend this only for hardcore fans at this point as the last game of the saga possible.

It is better than Redemption and especially Ressurrection, but considering those are two of the most piss poor attempts at making a videogame I’ve ever played that’s like saying that Desert Gunner is better than Air Control. It’s functional, yes, but that doesn’t really make it good.
It’s got the same “kill a million dudes, another six feet of the level opens, then kill a million more dudes” that the last two had, but the main difference here is that that “zillion” is down from the “trillion” that Redemption had. Redemption was unplayable because you simply did not have the space, health, or ammo to kill all the enemies in each level. This one you actually do, and i was able to play through in insomnia difficulty without ragequitting like in Redemption, where going through without cheating was virtually impossible due to bad game design.

Peekaboo Collection - 3 Tales of Horror
Update: Now rhat I have olayed all three tales, I can definitely say its worth the money. Every story is different as far as mechanics and, obviously, story line. They do not relate to one another.
Some are also longer than others, but all very fun to play.
I would suggest playing Balavour first, followed by Theater Unrest and then Solumcess. That is just based off of horror scale, Solumcess being the best out of the three… at least in my opinion.
Anyways, loved it. You’ll probably enjoy it if your looking for some shorter games to play.

Played the first two stories and to be honest it’s a bit cheesy …
That does not mean it is bad, and maybe the last story is the best one(who knows).
But as far as I have played, well it’s standard horror fare with the occasional jumpscare and running, fighting sequence. The story tries it’s best tho(no complaints there).
For this price , give it a shot for 3 rather short games.

Scary new year
Yet another cheap, independent horror game in which the protagonist is holding a video camera for absolutely no discernible reason. (Hint to devs: in Outlast, the character didn’t have a flashlight, so the camera was HIS ONLY SOURCE OF LIGHT!)
This reason alone, however, isn’t sufficient justification for thumbing a game down. So let’s dig a little deeper, shall we?
Environmental graphics: sh*t. Bare-bones and ugly. Sound: actually pretty atmospheric and scary, if you ignore the fact that floorboards INSIDE a building sound exactly like the wet, squelchy grass outside. Story context given: basically none. Clue as to where you are on a map at any given time: ABSOLUTELY none.

Screw the general introduction that I give in most of my reviews; DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF OVERPRICED GARBAGE. This is quite literally the worst game I’ve ever played in my entire life, and I used to be a gamerscore hunter back in the Xbox 360 days… needless to say, I have seen some crap in my day!!! Lo and behold, the most enormous turd in the gaming world, Scary New Year. Released on January 25, 2018, the only thing scary about this title is how much of a SCAM it is. I’m astounded that the developer had big enough balls to send me a key through Curator Connect.
