Kindred Fates: Combat Arena Alpha
I am hyped for the future of this game.
If you wanna buy it and you are scared of the price, dont forget the price includes alpha, beta and full game access.
Buy it If you believe in the devs (they are the best devs you can dream of) and you want to support them.
This is only PvP but the full game will be an Open World Monster Battling RPG. Keep in mind that this game in its current state has bugs and isnt perfectly optimized (alpha). I just cant wait for the beta and hope many more people gonna buy it so the PvP community to test Alpha and Beta becomes bigger.

Edit: With the alpha being out for almost a year now I got to say the game is still fun and the devs are great!
Gameplay
We will start off with the general gameplay and how it feels.
The gameplay is a fast paced real-time action packed gameplay, A style very unique to a monster taming game. But Skymill does not stop there, they also have what has to be my favorite part of the game, Types as a play style. What this means is that instead of your normal “Fire deal x2 damage to grass” that we see so often Kindred fates instead makes it so that its your player style that counters the type not your damage. This leaves much more room for player skill than other games. Here is an example of what I mean when I saw types as a play style.

Crazy Kung Fu
Crazy Kung Fu
This game made me feel like I was the Karate Kid, except, instead of a real old man making me wax his car I was given a cardboard cut-out of an old man.
Not that that’s a bad thing, naturally. I don’t particularly want an old man watching me work up a sweat, but I would have liked him to perhaps throw some guidance my way on how I can improve rather than waiting for the end of the match.
This game feels more like I’m training in martial arts than playing a game, there’s no mid-game scoring, no timed events or any tips during the match, you just need to get on with it, give it your best and see your ways to improve at the end. It did feel quite similar to when I was in school doing marital arts training.

About as close as you can get to a training simulator for martial arts. You aren’t hitting things to a soundtrack. It is purely a training dummy with spinning targets you either Block (forearm), punch, or dodge. The harder and firmer your form, the more points you build up.
If you’re looking for a game that will give you a little cardio workout, pick this up. Level 5 and beyond will have you sparring with 3 simultaneously spinning targets to work with.
This game had me sweating from my eyelashes. When you find your groove, and stop ‘trying’, your natural reactions become instant. Your right hand will be blocking, but your already looking to your left to intercept the next target.

Geo Zombies
Great game! Graphics intense as it puts my RX 6900XT immediately to 100% Load.
Also I am currently holding the Top of the leaderboard AND the bottom! Challenge me!
Nah seriously don’t, i don’t trust this. It also starts SteamVR for some reason. Gameplay is not worth 1,59€.

Inquisitor’s Heart and Soul
Pros: interesting design, good cutscenes. Cons: these cutscenes cannot be skipped, it is not clear what the main character’s goal is

The idea is well thought out. There are several bugs related to the player’s respawn after death. I got to the second episode, but I can’t figure out what happens after the dialogue ends. The screen turns off and the game ends.

Aggressor
Alright, over the past few weeks i fell in love with this game, and here is what i can say about it as quickly as possible.
Short version : Game is a fun, quick in and out dogfighting experience with a ton of potential !
Full opinion :
This game is both exciting and filled with potential.
Similiar to other reviews on this game i must agree that the game is in early access and so a lot of things are missing (duh)
Yet even over that fact this game provides a fun and quick experience for the times when youre just kinda bored and need a quick game to play.

This game lacks polish but is quite a lot of fun. For a cold war air combat junkie it features all the planes you could want. It’s can be rather immersive sometimes.
This game feels gritty and fun if you like air combat. The first thing you will notice is the art style, being snappy and simple.
I love the damage model and the way flashes and sparks will fly off of planes being hit, I can tell some research was put in looking at real life gun camera footage.
The maps are extremely simplistic, but with all the dogfighting going on I found I didnt notice too much. The game itself is incredibly small so startup time is very quick.
