Game’s Story:

An Ancient Tale Told by the Elders of Trem

While defending his sovereign realm and in defense of his people’s land, the brave and mighty golden-haired King of Trem slay Tazven—the strongest of all iron-clad opponent soldiers. What the King of Trem did not know is that Tazven was the sinister Sorcerer Leartnom’s only son. The Sorcerer, of the opposing mountain kingdom village of Yekrut, hidden between the Serpent Sea and the dark pine trees of Adanac, vowed to take revenge on the King for his grave mistake of slaying his son—which could not be forgiven—even in battle.

In vengeance, Sorcerer Leartnom cursed King Trem’s only child—a raven-haired daughter, Princess Julia. The curse imprisoned her in the castle dungeon with a power so great that her lungs would be pierced with shards of metal should she dare step outside of her cell. Once the king came to visit his daughter and deceptively attempted to remove his daughter from the dungeon by means of a hidden spiral staircase that was only known to the servants. But soon he found that his daughter’s breath was sucked from her lips with such sharp pain that her screams echoed in the guard’s armored helmets. Condemned to the cavernous halls of the castle’s bowls, Princess Julia was never to see daylight again until the curse was broken.

The King promised to give his throne to any man who could save his daughter from this dreadful fate of imprisonment just beneath his own feet in the castle dungeon on the Isle of Trem. Many soldiers and adventurers failed trying to save Princess Julia.

Until one day, after a terrible storm in the Serpent Sea, the Pirate Magician Yapla found himself washed up on the island Kingdom of Trem. He was the sole survivor of his shipwreck. The Pirate Magician Yapla realized that the only way out off of the island was to open the massive castle drawbridge with the wizard wand which was hidden by Sorcerer Leartnom in Princess Julia’s cell. Further intrigued by the prospect of being king, the Pirate Yapla embarked on an adventure through the castle’s dungeons to save himself and the cursed Princess Julia.

Firelight Fantasy: Phoenix Crew

I bought the game at a discount and played a little. First impressions seem to be good. I will note the following benefits:

1. Interesting storytelling

2. Variety in play locations (although I haven’t learned much yet)

3. The presence of various elements of weapons and a shield

However, there are also disadvantages:

1. Random generation. Too monotonous and boring

2. Lack of voice acting for the storyline.

I’ve played this game about 2 hours now, and am totally having fun. I really like the different weapon behaviors, and perks you discover can give you some great effects.

PERKS

It seems like each set of levels you play (kind of a campaign of 5 or so levels) you clear your perks and must discover them throughout the campaign. I had a perk for extra fire damage on primary swing, then another perk for 100% additional fire damage, it was crazy melee time at that point.

Another time I had hits causing “necrotic puddles” that would do damage over time to any monster in it, super cool!

Firelight Fantasy: Resistance

The genre of the game is quite interesting, the locations (their graphics) are also pleased. Although nature looks unrealistic, the stylization is good. It would be nice to think over the lore of the game more competently, but everything is fine. Hopefully support for gamepads will be added.

An interesting game, but I will note a number of pros and cons:

Pros:

-Difficult and interesting battles

-Moderately balanced enemies and the main character

-Epic music

-Beautiful stylized environment graphics.

Cons:

-Lack of gamepad support. This is an essential for such a game.

-The plot isn’t really interesting

Firelight Fantasy: Vengeance

Firelight Fantasy: Vengeance

Firelight Fantasy: Vengeance - a game about spectacular sword battles from the third person.

This game is an action game based on Scandinavian mythology. Immerse yourself in the unusual story of how Sigurd died.

RESENTMENT

I’m not happy that Sigurd deceived you and me, ”Brunhild objected. - Know that he betrayed your friendship. If you don’t kill Sigurd, you will hurt me even more with this! the Valkyrie replied sternly. - I give you three days.

A DOUBT

Listen, Gunnar, - he said quietly, - you want to commit a dishonorable act that will bring us a lot of misfortune. The three of us were invincible, and without Sigurd, the enemies would soon invade our country again. I know: you love Brunhild and are afraid of losing her, but it is even more terrible to lose your faithful friend. I repeat that I do not believe in Wolsung’s dishonesty. Although, - he added still quietly, - maybe you are captivated by the thought of his treasures?

MEETING WITH SIGURD

When he reached the door of Wolsung’s bedroom, the king’s half-brother stopped and listened, but he heard only the even breathing of the sleeping man. Then he opened the door and for several minutes gazed motionlessly at Sigurd’s beautiful face and his golden curls. But the most interesting is just ahead. What fate awaits Sigurd?

GAME FEATURES:

  • 6 stylized game locations

  • A story based on the myth of Sigurd’s betrayal

  • Spectacular battles

  • Procedurally generated worlds

  • Different types of weapons and types of attacks

  • Enemies of different difficulty

  • Amazing soundtrack

Entered a death match, hovered in the middle of the map, and proceeded to kill the same 3 clueless newbies 20 times in a row each. Used the same attacks and tactics the entire time and they never learned. Cackled loudly. Fireball/10

PS: If you press T you can chat, but it locks other controls. The game is full of cancerous roleplayers and girls looking to tell you details of their life to get attention instead of actually playing the game. Get them talking for easy headshots/XP.

I have always been into fantasy games, even the most simplified of them all such as this one. The concept is simple, attack and kill opponents, level up, unlock the next skin. Not too shabby. I’ve managed to convince several of my gamer friends to give this game a try and majority of them have had a positive outlook on it. It’s a real shame that this was all that I could possibly find as a recently-created simulator for the PC, that allows you to experience gameplay as the dragon itself. As much as I would like to glorify this game for more than it really is; there are many downsides that should be addressed as well.

Game provided early by Dev through Curator. Follow Imperial Reviews!

With the updates that the Dev has done, I can say the game is way more fun to play! I made edits to the review.

Moor caught my attention from it’s pixelated graphics, and the promise of a first person roguelite, the kind of games I tend to really enjoy. So with that I gave it a go, and being honest, it was a very mixed bag.

Let’s start with the positives. The graphics are great. The levels are built well and have lots to explore. The ambient music is great, even if it’s just royalty free music that I’ve heard before, but fit in with the game and world very well. Sounds are good and fit. Nothing to really complain there. The odd puzzle or platforming section you encounter feels great when you figure it out and get that chest at the end. Killing monsters give you XP, though it gives you a very small amount at the beginning of the game, like sometimes you could get to the 3rd floor before you even hit level 2. Thankfully once you get further you fight more enemies and harder enemies that give slightly more XP. Each level gives you a skill point so you can increase a stat like health, stamina, mana, damage, and armor. It’s simple but works as intended.

This game has a certain charm and I really wanted to like it, but unfortunately I can’t recommend it, all things considered.

It is a small roguelite with permadeath and random dungeon generation, made mostly by one man. It has retro graphics, quite somber mood and some nice premade locations. Derelict chambers of the castle seem to tell a story of a forgotten kingdom buried under the earth and there are some light environmental puzzles as well. However, overall the game is not that fun to play.
