Game’s Story:

An Ancient Tale Told by the Elders of Trem

While defending his sovereign realm and in defense of his people’s land, the brave and mighty golden-haired King of Trem slay Tazven—the strongest of all iron-clad opponent soldiers. What the King of Trem did not know is that Tazven was the sinister Sorcerer Leartnom’s only son. The Sorcerer, of the opposing mountain kingdom village of Yekrut, hidden between the Serpent Sea and the dark pine trees of Adanac, vowed to take revenge on the King for his grave mistake of slaying his son—which could not be forgiven—even in battle.

In vengeance, Sorcerer Leartnom cursed King Trem’s only child—a raven-haired daughter, Princess Julia. The curse imprisoned her in the castle dungeon with a power so great that her lungs would be pierced with shards of metal should she dare step outside of her cell. Once the king came to visit his daughter and deceptively attempted to remove his daughter from the dungeon by means of a hidden spiral staircase that was only known to the servants. But soon he found that his daughter’s breath was sucked from her lips with such sharp pain that her screams echoed in the guard’s armored helmets. Condemned to the cavernous halls of the castle’s bowls, Princess Julia was never to see daylight again until the curse was broken.

The King promised to give his throne to any man who could save his daughter from this dreadful fate of imprisonment just beneath his own feet in the castle dungeon on the Isle of Trem. Many soldiers and adventurers failed trying to save Princess Julia.

Until one day, after a terrible storm in the Serpent Sea, the Pirate Magician Yapla found himself washed up on the island Kingdom of Trem. He was the sole survivor of his shipwreck. The Pirate Magician Yapla realized that the only way out off of the island was to open the massive castle drawbridge with the wizard wand which was hidden by Sorcerer Leartnom in Princess Julia’s cell. Further intrigued by the prospect of being king, the Pirate Yapla embarked on an adventure through the castle’s dungeons to save himself and the cursed Princess Julia.

A great game, I played for a couple of hours, and was very satisfied.

A beautiful girl beats a ninja, you can’t take your eyes off the heroine.

Passing locations with great music.

An atmospheric game, I recommend you to buy.

An excellent old school fighting game in 3D. True, there is not enough second player mode for complete authenticity) Well, I think it will be added later. I would like to pay special attention to the music, it is just great. I’m really looking forward to the ost to buy it and listen to it while playing cs)

ELDERBORN

ELDERBORN

SUMMARY: Although ELDERBORN bills itself as a “Souls-like FPS”, a lot of the videos show the player frantically slashing and smashing; this might give the impression of a more straightforward heavy metal “Doom with Swords” experience (with all of the high-ledge kicking action of a Dark Messiah of Might and Magic). In reality, what I got was a fairly thoughtful and measured experience consisting of dodging, parrying, blocking, and outmaneuvering dangerous enemies; survival, particularly at higher difficulties, was about fighting intelligently and limiting the number of opponents who could bash your head in at any given time. And to be honest, I think I like it more than the game I imagined I was getting in the trailers. An easy recommendation for anybody who has a craving for some FPS-melee action.

Elderborn is a great murder simulator. The combat is challenging and satisfying, but usually not so hard that it made me frustrated (Except on the hardest difficulty that can be pretty frustrating.). The visuals are kind of whatever, nothing particularly great, but nothing that bothered me either, and the variety of enemies, environments and murdertools is more than passable.

The combat is incredibly fun and satisfying, and you have lots of tools and abilities to work with. You have 10 (I think, I feel like I may be forgetting one

! , and no the power mace doesn’t count) weapons that you collect throughout the short ~5 hour campaign and a couple of other special abilities that you can unlock through a skill tree, the most notable ones being deflect, where you reflect a projectile back at an enemy, and a charge move, which sends you flying in one direction and knocks down whatever you hit. You are often fighting several enemies at once, making you dodge all around the nice environments and your reflexes will be pushed quite hard.

Sometimes you wanna play some fun jank, and this is one of them.

Feels like someone learned programming cause they really liked Ocarina of Time, which isn’t a bad thing at all.

Lots of hidden stuff, pretty freeform, and from what I’ve played (including some non-steam time in the demo) it keeps you on your toes with weird stuff all around.

Unlike a lot of jank this seems more fun than pain. Exploring actually feel oddly rewarding and the content is pretty varied.

Combat ranges from pretty fun to button mashey and random. Overall, the game is pretty easy at the beginning though and I mostly died to platforming. I did have some bug that blocked progression (like in the crypt fighting the green guy the fight never ended). The UI is really unintuitive and it’s easy to destroy items by accident.

I’ve played this game about 2 hours now, and am totally having fun. I really like the different weapon behaviors, and perks you discover can give you some great effects.

PERKS

It seems like each set of levels you play (kind of a campaign of 5 or so levels) you clear your perks and must discover them throughout the campaign. I had a perk for extra fire damage on primary swing, then another perk for 100% additional fire damage, it was crazy melee time at that point.

Another time I had hits causing “necrotic puddles” that would do damage over time to any monster in it, super cool!

ANCIENT SOULS

ANCIENT SOULS

It’s a Souls like runner game. You can explore the level, unlock new rooms. You will dodge the traps and fight against the different enemies. You will face Bosses in every level of the temple.

You will need to master the sword technique of Divine artifact “Tyrfing” and learn the way of Allfather. You have to improve your connection with the elements and upgrade your Holy amulet “Brísingamen” with the souls of the fallen . After that you can face Thor and you can release Fenrir from his chains.

So far this game has no reviews so I figured I’d add one

For the price and current content I do recommend this game, it has tons of potential and the dev is replying back, there is of course alot of bugs/glitches and it needs alot but I’m enjoying it, It’s similar to some other games but this game has an actual open non linear world which is huge for me.

If you want to see some of my feedback and input check out my posts on the discussions section, I’m not gonna bother putting a bunch of stuff in here Pros/Cons

Game is early, for the low price support this game in hopes of a bright future. The Developer is receptive to feedback. I have less than an hour played since I am waiting for a few more updates, but so far killing some stuff and leveling up while exploring a bit of the world has me excited for the future of this game

Kingdoms In Chaos

Kingdoms In Chaos

I think this game has a ton of potential. There is a lot of work that needs to be done. At roughly 100 hours I’m wrapping up basically everything you can do in this game so… But to me 10 dollars for 100 hours is a steal.

As ghetto as this game is, I find it quite relaxing. Bank your gold often. These open PVP full loot mmos are the only genres us OLD school gamers actually enjoy :D FREEEDOM - BigCountry
