SPOILER ALERT***
Where do I start? This game is phenomenal.
The GTX 2080 top of the line graphics card, almost isn’t enough to play this game on Epic settings and that’s a pure testament to how incredible this game is. I would recommend the GTX 3090 for best gaming experience.
If you ever thought MMA was gruesome imagine your fellow extra terrestrials beating the shit out of each other. The most action packed thrilling hand to hand / Foot to head combat SIMULATOR.

Ningakki XXVI FPS
It would be a decent idea to have a halo style multiplayer, and less mountain terrain. also possibly some horror aspects?

Omen of Sorrow brings monsters of horror, literature and mythology together for a fighting game experience unlike any other. I was hoping for a decent hack’n’slash. This game, however, is a soulslike wannabe. Combat is stamina-based, and your stamina bar is big enough for a few rolls and a hit, so you are rolling constantly, and then waiting for the bar to recharge- there’s no flow to the combat. There’s a target lock feature, but it only locks the camera on the enemy- the MC doesn’t automatically face the enemy, and you strike whenever you are facing, so this can lead to some frustration, There’s the option to block, but in my experience this just drains your stamina quickly, and then you start taking damage-though maybe there’s a parry window I wasn’t hitting. There are 4 tutorial prompts in the opening level, but I could only read 2 of them, because you’re forced to fight immediately and non-stop, so it’s possible I missed some game mechanics info. Your health items do replenish after beating certain enemies, so that’s a plus, at least. The fact that you can lose some health just from bumping into an enemy, or get hit even when they are attacking forward and you are directly behind them is not so nice.

Brutality club
Good for a quick laugh, maybe a giggle, and if it were a $1 or so game i’d say its alright but not for the $8 price range. You have very little control over your actual dude so you just flail your character around and hope to hit your opponent. Chances are that you’ll play it for maybe half an hour and be bored of it.

I thought i’d give it a go because its hard to find a decent fighting/mma game on steam, i knew it was physics rag-doll based but i wasn’t expecting it to be just random flailing with little to no control over your character.

The Host
Sometimes you wanna play some fun jank, and this is one of them.
Feels like someone learned programming cause they really liked Ocarina of Time, which isn’t a bad thing at all.
Lots of hidden stuff, pretty freeform, and from what I’ve played (including some non-steam time in the demo) it keeps you on your toes with weird stuff all around.
Unlike a lot of jank this seems more fun than pain. Exploring actually feel oddly rewarding and the content is pretty varied.
Combat ranges from pretty fun to button mashey and random. Overall, the game is pretty easy at the beginning though and I mostly died to platforming. I did have some bug that blocked progression (like in the crypt fighting the green guy the fight never ended). The UI is really unintuitive and it’s easy to destroy items by accident.

Become a Gladiator VR : 1v1 PVP
You wake up in the middle of the Colosseum with no memory. You start your struggle to survive in the Colosseum without knowing who you are and where slaughtering is just entertainment. In the middle of the Colosseum, all you can rely on is your weapons, shields and skills. It’s up to you whether you’re going to be a Gladiator that cuts off the heads of countless enemies, or you’re going to be one of the thousands of bodies that can’t be recorded anywhere in the history books.
“Become A Gladiator VR” is not a perfect physical simulation game containing real-world like interactions. This is a PVP specialized VR action game that prioritizes action itself rather than focusing on historical research. It is designed to allow players to feel and learn when and how to swing swords and shields, which is temporarily impossible to control or immobilize due to collisions between weapons and shields.
Due to the characteristics of the game, players may have to move around a lot, so please refer to the precautions below.
-
2x2m space is required due to possible injury or real damage to property.
-
Due to the above reasons, free movement is not supported, so it is recommended gamers use a stick to move the characters in the center of the VR area.
-
Sufficient stretching is required before playing to prevent injury.
-
A 10-minute break is recommended after playing the game for between 2 and 30 minutes or more.
Please provide contructive feedback on playing conditions, inconveniences experienced, and balance issues, etc.
