A nice puzzle game.

Requires some dexterity and a bit of die and retry.

Overall a pleasant experience and it is free.

What do you want more?

Spinny’s Journey

Spinny’s Journey

Not sure how to explain but you are a stick that spins. You have to try not to touch the edges of the maze as quick as possible. Seems kind of unique to me, enjoyable in a frustrating kind of way.

Overall, I quite enjoyed this game as one of the first true homages to Kururin around. The music and visuals are quite good on the whole, and I found the level design to be nice as well.

However, I think the game is held back by some really odd gameplay issues that might not even matter to most players. For example, as I got into the later levels I noticed how hard it became to precisely move the ship since there’s this odd deadzone on the analog stick (I was playing with a DS4) that doesn’t read your inputs until the stick is moved about halfway from neutral.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I just finished making a let’s play of this game, and I enjoyed it so much I had to leave a like. Nice Job DrakeCraft! The game can be both funny and suspenseful and creepy and is just an enjoyable treat. 7/5 pineapples!

alone’s a sweet one with a nice pacing & concept.

however it’s really short in length, which is kinda sad. would’ve loved to play more of it.

still, a solid indie game that was not lacking in overall quality.

just that kevin macleod song I’ve heared too much in my life kinda disrupted my immersion, complete silence would’ve been more fitting in my opinion.

Canvas Hockey

Canvas Hockey

After 30+hrs now and beating the career mode I can say without a doubt this is a must-buy for any pc hockey fan, and a super satisfying gaming experience. Winning the cup was akin to the feeling of accomplishment in recent gaming memory of beating a Hades boss for the first time.

Super responsive dev as well, had a couple quality of life requests as well as the below AI complaint (which I’ll leave in for context) and I got a response and a week later updated with exactly what I asked for as well as a new mode which adds some replay-ability after the campaign, seems like it will only continue to get better (Would 100% purchase a canvas hockey 2, maybe with 5-on-5 play)

As an AVID player of NHL 94 on my Super Nintendo its nice to finally have something similar on PC.

A combination of smooth and fun gameplay and a creative design this title stands out among the indie sports games available on Steam.

I can see myself constantly playing this game for the foreseeable future and highly recommend anyone who is looking for a fun hockey game to pick this up.

Can’t wait to see what the developer adds in the coming updates to enhance the game!

NENA

NENA

Looks can be deceiving. Before I even say anything about the gameplay, Nena has the best ending I ever experienced in a video game (it’s that special), make sure to watch the credits all the way, and please don’t spoil it for others. The puzzle mechanics are very good, you can take control of the enemies and objects, and even redirect the projectiles in mid-air which creates some very creative gameplay. I also really enjoyed the narrative, I only wish it had more exploration because the way you can interact with the world is so fun. It’s not very long, only about 60 minutes if you not grinding the achievements. I could go on and talk more about the game, but if you play it all the way, I think you will realize that making the game was probably not the most important thing ;). My heart… Just awwwwwwwwwwwww

One of the cutest games EVER! 3

Best ending EVER, like American Beetle said!!! I simply had to play this through instantly because of their glowing review!

I recommend playing this with the controller, like the game says; because I think one would have some difficulty playing otherwise, since aiming and moving is important.

I found that the game has just the right difficulty! Was super fun to go about the puzzles and enemies! Plus, the dialog is so charming and lovely 3

Spacepowers

Spacepowers

I thought this game had some kind of campaign or objectives when I purchased it but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. Each character’s ‘story’ is just a tooltip on the upgrade page.

This game is basically just a deathmatch arena vs bots of random ship classes. So theres a chance that if you spawn in with your D class ship, a couple A class bots may also spawn to just instantly destroy you on sight. Likewise You may spawn in as an S class ship and all the bots are B class or lower, making for zero challenge.

Spacepowers is a top down space shooter that has decent gameplay but almost no content. Every round is an identical free-for-all deathmatch. It has a roguelike element of ship upgrades, but you already start the game being able to do fairly well, and it gets easier every round. After a handful of upgrades my ship was strong enough to get 1st or 2nd place every round. Every upgrade is just a stat upgrade, so nothing interesting really changes. It just becomes a grindfest with no goals that make you want to grind. There is only one level, you just play it over and over. With more content it could be a decent game, but in its current state, it gets boring far too quickly. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone simply because of how short and repetitive it is.
