Spin the World

When I began playing Spin the World, my hopes for having a really great experience were high. Unfortunately, after investing a little time in the game, I can say that I did not enjoy the experience. This title, in its current state, feel a lot to me like an alpha stage game, with some potential, but a ton of extra work to be done.
Firstly, the gameplay is on the forefront of what this title is about. You jump into the game with control of a mystery character, with a mystery purpose but they are holding a gun. Great! As you would, you proceed forward and start shooting things. This is when the game really goes down unfortunately. As I progressed, I kept running into a reoccurring bug where the enemies kept getting stuck in the walls. This problem does not have much effect on the game due to there being no loot, score or any real reason to kill something besides it is in your way. What this does for me, however, is makes any success feel empty due to getting by only because I didn’t have to fight for it. Unsatisfying…

I bought this for 0.89 cent on sale but I still refunded.
There are flash games that were better than this. Not only does the game have no story at all but even the combat is just one hit death to everything while enemies walk back and forth in a straigth line. And jumping is floaty af.
Buggy it is too (of course). Just try walking left out of the room and see yourself fall outside the play area, which is telltale sign of asset flip that was cobbled together in a weekend.
Yeah, I’m sure people will gladly pay 10€ for a game that doesn’t even the pretend of a story.

This game is simply wonderful! It has an original thematic, a world of origamis to purify!
I love the art, so colorful and special! There are a lot of different enemies, i want see all! The gameplay is juicy too, you can do combos when you charge your weapon, so its nice to listen the “plop” sound when you kill/purify the enemies.
I’m going to playing more, then i back again to say my final words about this game!

Adventure of Bears
A cheap and fun game. Not bad variant for platformer and bear lovers. The graphics are quite simple, I would like the authors to approach the issue of detail more carefully.

In general, it is a decent platformer. Only the jump of the bear is unnaturally high. It feels like you’re playing as a rabbit, not a bear.

Choco Pixel X
Pretty decent puzzle game. Most of the levels are quite easy, some of them are a bit challenging. Do not hesitate to give it a try !

GraFi Christmas
Have I already reviewed some Grafi games?
Well, it’s eems there’s dozens of them. And they look al the same.
50 levels, and some physics inside this indie puzzler which has just a Christmas feeling, like - they took one of the other Grafi games and added some red and white elements.
It features 100 achievements like all the other games in this series and on the other side it offers just some hours to be completed. Maybe even less than a hour if you’re better than me, which is extremely possible, since I such at gaming.

Grafi Christmas is a reskinned version of its previous installments, which are aimed at the casual puzzle fan and/or achievement collector. The same 100 bubble letter achievements unlock for clearing its 50 stages, and it still clocks around an hour of game time. Because it’s still clean & presentable without any bugs, choosing recommended, but this review is actually mixed.
Since there are few changes, the following is largely copied from my previous reviews:
Pros
- Small footprint: 24MB

Modest Hero
Slow short game. Mildly interesting. Prolly should be $3-5 not $10.

Upsides:
Surprising ending that brings a smile to your face
Appropriate sounds and music for each chapter
Nice aesthetics
Easy-to-learn controls
Not a lot of replayability
Downsides:
The end is not a happy ending
Some chapters can be hard, repetitive and nerve-wracking. I even found one a bit scary at times.
Conclusion:
Overall, the game is interesting and well-made, however, I felt that it is too expensive where I live. Since the price of this game can change depending on where you live, I would advise any potential buyers to check whether such a game might interest you, and if so, whether or not you think that it is worth the price.

Odium to the Core
This game if f….n awesome. I love what they do with the music, at times it feels like you are in an interactive audio visualizer. You die a lot in this game, but you are thrown right back in, and when you finally manage to cross that crazy section that seemed impossible, it feels great. In some ways, it’s like A Crow in Hell on steroids (it’s a flash game where you also have to navigate narrow corridors and avoid all kinds of contraptions, but the mechanics is a bit different). I like this game more, though.

A great runner-type of game with an excellent presentation, tight controls, and awesome music. What i can say about this game that makes it different from the others of his genre, is that the levels are very narrative. I mean, you dont play this kind of games for his argument, but the levels evolve in some great narrative ways, like if they were telling you a story, and this accompanied by the execellent music, makes the progression through them very intense and epic. Its a weird feeling considering the genre it belongs but its truely what i feel and i think this is amazing.

Choco Pixel 6
Almost identical to Choco Pixel, Choco Pixel 2, Choco Pixel 3, Choco Pixel 4 and Choco Pixel 5, except for a couple of new ideas.
Minimalist puzzle game with 50 levels. From level 1 to 30, it is pretty straightforward, but then, some of the levels are very challenging. And as far as I am concerned, I really like this mix between easy and difficult levels, I enjoyed playing this game.
One of the main issues was that, sometimes, after working out a solution for a difficult part of a level, you have to be careful and think about how to get out of this part of the level. If you make a mistake, you will be stuck with no way of getting out, so you will have to restart the level, and try to remember how you solved the difficult part, which is not always easy …

Hapland Trilogy
Light the torches, open the portal and become Grand Saviour of Hapland.
Hapland is a series of three difficult point-and-click puzzles that were originally released as Flash games in 2005-2006. In each one you have to find a way to open the portal by enlisting the help of the people who live in the world, while not getting them eaten by monsters or blown up by landmines.
Hapland, Hapland 2 and Hapland 3 have all been remastered in HD with beautiful 60FPS animation. Each game has also been enhanced with extra secrets to discover.
