Really enjoying it so far!

I love the paper art style :)

This game is a very pretty clicker. I think my frustration is even though you are see the career progress from undergrad to professor. You’re not dealing with any of its stress. So yes you managed the student trying to managed their time with exam and study during their undergrad. Or struggle getting into good PhD program and all drama of writing Dissertation and defending it. Then learn to managed the lab the mentor the students as post doc etc. Over stuff is done passively and there’s no mechanics for to experience it. None of pressure of publish or pressure etc.

DID YOU KNOW that:

  • Helium is so small that it leaks through glass?

  • DNA can be mutated with Hydroxylamine NH2OH?

  • World’s Methane is produced by 66% from cows and by 11% from termites?

  • You want Ethanol C2H6O and not Methanol CH4O in your drink, because the latter makes you blind?

  • Burning Cyanogen C2N2 will get you a 4000°C flame?

  • Bombardier beetles use Hydrogen Peroxide H2O2 reaction to jet a boiling toxic at their enemies?

  • A firefly’s glow comes from Dioxetane C2O2H4?

  • All heat and light from our sun comes from fusion of Hydrogen H?

I have yet to be dissappointed by Alan Hazelden’s elegant puzzle games. Typical of his style, Sokobond employs simple, self-explanatory mechanics in a series of small, self-contained puzzles which nevertheless manage to be frustratingly challenging.

The difficulty builds up naturally – each new mechanic is introduced on its own, first with simple levels to give you an idea of the basic tricks, and then with harder levels. Then, the different mechanics are brought together in later puzzles. Stopping to think logically through the situation is a must; if you don’t, you get stuck trying things that don’t work over and over, and many levels seem impossible.

Things that never change in this game:

The backgrounds. The music. The enemies. The gameplay. The cynicism.

Avoid this.

A mix of tower defense with runner designs starts from an good base, the implementation however misses the target. Many of the player choices have no meaningful impact resulting i far to slow pacing.

Laser Attraction

Laser Attraction

Fantastic physics-based puzzle game, looks nice good mental exercise :D

True to the nature of working with any actual optics, this game requires a bit of patience, planning and a steady hand to find the solutions, but feels so rewarding when you get it just right!

One addition that would really be awesome, would be a built in Level Designer with Steam Workshop integration for creating and playing community levels! This would be fantastic to see, and would give essentially infinite replayability.

I have played several laser based puzzle games over the years, and Laser Attraction definitely hits the mark better than any other game I’ve seen. Incredibly fluid interaction and challenging puzzles. For an early access game, it’s really remarkable the level of polish it has already. Looking forward to all future level and feature additions!

Defence Your Organism

Defence Your Organism

A top little Tower Defense game - the best 90 cents I have spent for a long time!!

There are 6 levels. Lacks a lot of bells and whistles (including you can’t prioritise targets), but I am having fun trying to beat my high scores (also wish the game would record best level scores).

Placement and tower selection is important. The levels finish at level 30.

Notwithstanding, I have already got my monies worth. I would be interested to see this game develop further and would be happy to pay more for much extended version 2 with those " bells and whistles.

EXPLORE SPACE

Be in command of your own space program, from rocket design to interplanetary travel and achieve your dream of cruising through the cosmos in your custom spacecraft.

In Spaceflight Simulator, you will get to engineer your rockets, plan launches and flights, attempt landings, deploy payloads and explore new worlds.

EASY-TO-PICK UP, HARD-TO-MASTER

You could be launching your first rocket within minutes, but landing it in one piece might be another story!

With so many parts to pick from, you will learn through trial and error how to build spacecrafts best adapted to each of your missions. You will have to master navigating through the Solar system and landing your vehicle on all the planets and moons, each with their own atmospheric and terrain conditions.

REAL-WORD PHYSICS

During the design phase, you will get to assemble your own launch vehicle from a wide variety of components and pair them with a multitude of engines, all modeled after their real-world counterparts. Each part possesses its own technical specifications (mass, aerodynamics, etc.) which will affect your rocket’s behavior.

All engines accurately model thrust and fuel consumption affecting how much payload you’ll be able to carry safely. You’ll be able to create multistage vehicles, control how they separate and when secondary burn occurs in order to achieve the optimal trajectory.

BUILD YOUR WORLD

Fuel your ambitions, launch satellites, build exploration rovers, space stations, multiple rockets into space. Your world is persistent and only your imagination is your limit.

Conquer the harsh conditions of the Solar system, travel long distances and build your presence in space throughout multiple missions.

PARTS, PARTS, PARTS

Each part is highly detailed and serves a particular purpose. They are all based on their real-world equivalent and allow you to recreate your favorite historical rocket.

● Fuel tanks (20 sizes and configurations)

● Engines and thrusters (6 propulsion systems and a reaction control system)

● Aerodynamics (13 fairings with many nose and side cones)

● Capsules, probes, payload systems, separators and docking ports

● Landing systems (legs, parachutes, wheels)

● Utilities (solar panels, batteries, electrical, structural)

● Skins (to personalize your rocket)

WHAT TO EXPLORE

Each destination is modeled accurately in terms of gravity pull and atmospheric conditions, offering a challenging landing experience every time.

● Earth, your starting point

● The Moon, Earth’s celestial companion

● Mercury, the smallest planet of our solar system and the closest to the Sun

● Venus, Earth’s inside neighbour with an extremely dense and hot atmosphere

● Mars, the red planet with a thin atmosphere

● Phobos, Mars' inner moon, with rough terrain and low gravity

● Deimos, Mars' outer moon, with an extremely low gravity and a smooth surface

● Jupiter, the gas giant with its thick atmosphere

● Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto. Each with their how terrain and landing difficulty
