Super casual puzzle game with tons of cute bunny pictures! I haven’t finished it yet but i suspect it will take me hours to get through all of the puzzles.

I love the variety of shapes put into this fun & creative little pool game. It’s relaxing too & it adds a new experience to the gameplay! It runs smooth. I wish there were more features like a leaderboard, in-game shop, unlockables, a few more modes & add even more shapes. Controls are easy to use. If you like pool, then you’ll like this. Recommended!

Warp Frontier

Warp Frontier

I do not think the puzzles are good, but overall I find this game compelling, both in the story and for the meta-puzzle of ‘what do I have to do differently to get the other achievement’ element. One playthrough takes very roughly seven hours. I was in the beginning of my second playthrough when I started this review. I think it would need at least three playthroughs to get all the achievements. For full disclosure, I’m an immigrant to Australia. If you don’t like our sarcasm, you may not like the presentation and characters.

edit: more save slots available + skippable travel animations.

warp frontier stars space cop and former drummer vince ‘tin man’ cassini, who kicked some ass back in the day when he wasn’t on the turps or gigging with his band, but still has some juice left in him (the non-alcoholic variety). on his way home for a birthday celebration, his ship gets shot down. after some first aid to the ship he finds the attackers, killed by nothing somehow, then runs into a girl who leads him to something he’s been trying to find for a long time.

ASMR Journey - Animated Jigsaw Puzzle

ASMR Journey - Animated Jigsaw Puzzle

I don’t usually write reviews for games, but there’s so little written about this one that I feel it’s my duty.

TL;DR: The game has issues, but it’s totally worth the very small price.

Let’s start with the good:

I’ve played loads of puzzle games, and this one is particularly beautiful.

Parts of the pictures move, even when the puzzles are in pieces. It really adds something to a jigsaw puzzle game that takes it up a notch. For example, on the train puzzle, there is a foggy window where you can see the blurry landscape pass by.

ASMR Journey is a very well-crafted and inspiring puzzle game, it is calm, immersive, has a good soundtrack and the graphics have a unique and discrepant trace of everything I have seen, it is calm in the exact and interesting point with the hostory that holds you as you play, I found it completely relaxing and well-crafted.

The only negative point found was the lack of more puzzles to complete, as I would like to play more and more, but in any case it already yields a calm and comforting experience.

Game For Anna

Game For Anna

A solid primer for the main game “Darkness Under My Bed”. This short point and click game has several endings and some really interesting puzzles. At this time I believe I have fully completed it. ~ 1.5 hours to figure out all the endings.

Highly Likely

Highly Likely

This is one of the most tedious, poorly crafted, boring, pointless games I’ve ever played.

The art is phenomenal. The developers' interactions with folks on the internet is disappointing. It’s buggy and slow and repetitive.

There are no puzzles, there’s barely a story, there is no skill involved, it’s poorly translated, it’s a little sexist, and the characters' motivations are all over the map. There’s literally a segment in this game where you need to cross a river, so you hold the joystick to the left for over a minute while he slowly turns a crank. This happens multiple times. The most engaging moment of the whole thing is a long and laborious multi-part fetch quest.

Highly Likely is a short and light-hearted point-and-click game that is set in a rural Ukraine and follows a man named Mikola as he tries to get himself out of an enormous debt that he owes to the bank. He finds himself a new business opportunity, one that is risky and could land him in trouble with the law, but he knows that he’s got no other choice. This is the basic story premise that is very relatable and could happen to just about anyone.

Close Combat: Modern Tactics

Close Combat: Modern Tactics

Only my second Close Combat game, Modern Tactics lacks some of the polish of the games that came after it (like a mouse zoomable camera) but retains the classic play style of the series before the “Combat Mission-esque” makeover in the Bloody First. Hand-drawn maps compete with barely distinguishable unit sprites, as sound effects leave me mousing around the map and switching to the strategic view to locate the enemy.

I had been curious about this title since reading it was based on a marine training tool and never had a chance to play it back during its initial release. Seeing it on steam with no fanfare. I picked it up right away and put a few hours in. After struggling to get the game to run at full screen with readable text, I am happy to say that the DPI options and UI scaling are all on the options menu now, but do require a restart to take effect. Also, adding icons over the units helped me to find them easier, but this could also be because I am color-blind.

Very buggy game. Multiple crashes and disappearing mouse cursors make the game frustrating to play.

Not even worth it on sale.
