«Paws on the Sand: Lionessy Sins» — is a party based RPG-platformer with hand-drawn 2D graphics. The game takes place in the ancient world, based on the Sumer-Akkadian, Egyptian and ancient Slavic mythology. This world is filled with rival city-states, ancient pagan deities, gloomy dungeons and bizarre monsters. There are no humans in the game. Instead of them characters are represented by various types of anthropomorphic animals (furry).
PLAY FOR THE LIONESSY - THE DEFENDER OF URUK
The main lionessy-character, a citizen of a captured ancient city Uruk, will have to free people of Uruk from slavery. She also will have to save her lover from the tenacious clutches of the underworld goddess Ereshkigal, who is at eternal enmity with her sister, the goddess of fertility Ishtar. Along the way, lionessy will visit neighboring cities, explore the adjacent territories and complete (or not) many smaller quests.

Well made platformer with a goofy side and a darker side. Fits the named genres well and has a well scored soundtrack. Replayability also makes this game worth the time youll be able to get out of it.

Fantastic game with an amazing world. The lore and story are phenomenal and the gameplay is very fun too. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys funny and interesting worlds akin to that of Undertale/Deltarune (You can definitely see a lot of Toby Fox influence in the game lol)

I highly recommend this game. It’s a massive improvement from its RPG maker predecessor Hylics.
Positives and improvements:

Story is a lot more defined than the original Hylics, taking place after the events of the first game.

Combat is… Beautiful. Everything in battle sequences is more animated now. Enemies now move in the most mesmerizing yet unnerving fashions, as opposed to the static images of the first game. The items and special attacks are also still just as animated as the first game, with the obvious artistic improvements of Mason Lindroth within that time period.

I dont mind some visual or technical bugs, but you cant advance through dungeon floor 4, its clear none has tried the game before the release. The game has good scenes and characters, but its short and boring, also bugged, not worth at all.

I loved this game, simple and easy, but not boring, and well made for an RPGM title. In particular, I liked the art style very much, too bad that unfortunately these are static images and not animated scenes.

Typically don’t review games like this, but others should be warned. (adult content talk is at end of review)
From the screenshots, you can tell it is an RPG Maker game which isn’t a bad thing for most, but this one has plenty of issues. To start, there is quite a few translation errors which funnily enough Milena (the title character of the game) is even misspelled a few times. Speaking of names, you don’t have one, you are the main character and you are called Boy or Hero, lol.
The sound is okay and just stock sounds from other RPG Maker games I have played and the music on the other hand is annoying and muted that fast. No voice acting for those interested, but it would probably not be that great anyway. The story is quite short (only took 3 hours to beat the game and that included grinding) and it follows a boy merchant that wonders into the forest after a day’s work. He finds a big mansion and decides to go inside despite being warned about a witch that lives there earlier. He wonders around the mansion (has a few “encounters” with her) and you eventually find humans trapped in cells. You attempt to free them, but you have to find a key which you go through a forest in the mansion (yeah, don’t get me started on that nonsense) and you free them. After they are free, they tell you they are slavers and beat you up and run away to resurrect strong demons on the higher levels of the mansion (I guess slavery and summoning demons is just things you do). At this point I should probably mention that Milena takes a liking to you and saves you, takes you back to the underground city IN THE MANSION to recoup for the next “level” in the mansion. Sensing a theme here? The whole game takes place in the mansion despite it being a house, a forest, a fire cave, an ice cave, and a satanic castle (yes that is all of the locations in the game).

Madness Fantasy
This game needs far more attention, as it’s really interesting and funny. I got burned out on playing turn based RPGs, when I found this one and… Nothing will ever be the same anymore. In a good way.
It was made by a person who really cared about the project and it’s really well written and REALLY funny too! Especially since some people have hard time laughing at things (ahem…), this game never fails me… I meant those people. I even went and told some of the parts/jokes to others and they loved it too. So it’s not just me!

Played the game for about 2 hours. Here’s my thoughts.
Take RPG maker, drop GTA into it, add in some Earthbound-like vibes and potty humor and you get Madness Fantasy.
The game is pretty easy to get into and the developer made sure the interface was straight-forward. The story starts off a tad on the slow side, but you get the gist of it pretty quick and going along for the ride with our heroes(?) is entertaining.
Like I said, there’s potty humor. The kind revolving around poop and burps. But the way the game is, the humor fits. The story is a series of fetch-quest style events, each quest almost being a mini-game in of itself. The concept of your entire party being available and each character being switched out as the main for each quest is a nice touch. There is also a side-quest option to unlock extras if you want to get a more open-world feel and not just follow the story.
