Kid Hallow

Kid Hallow

Like other Hamumu games, Kid Hallow takes a strong core idea (swapping costumes for different abilities) and provides a unique style and complexity that allows for endless variation. Kid Hallow has a simple premise, but it packs in a heap of twists and quirks that elevate it beyond a standard platformer. The levels range from quick and easy to insanely challenging, and the variety between each one keeps you on your toes. Highly recommended if you like arcade style, rapid-fire platforming filled with puzzles, action, bullet dodging, and bodzhas.

Even better than it was when it first came out in 2008 but this includes all the DLC packs for a LOT cheaper!

Lots of hours of game-play with more levels being created all the time!

Hamumu always puts out great games and I’m still playing them 20 years later!

This game saved my life.

I am 22.

My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and adopted our son together. They are now both 4 years old.

When we were going through our separation, I found myself lost and miserable. I was self destructive. I got so mad one day from everything spiraling out of my control that I punched some concrete in a moment of overwhelming emotion. That caused me to break my 5th metacarpal in my right hand… my working hand… my games hand.. the hand that I held and carried my children to bed with.. The hand I desperately needed to make sure I could continue to provide.

first off, i’ve been playing this game for around 2 years now, and seeing how much it’s grown over this time is genuinely awesome, and with it being on steam now i can only imagine how much better it’ll get as the playerbase gets larger.

the game is really fun for both casual and competitive players, and the level editor gives you a ton of creative freedom, especially with the new electric update, although it’s a bit confusing, maybe a guide on it would help. sometimes there’s fun events like races and contests in the official discord, and hopefully if the community grows enough they’ll be a bit more regular. the currently only dev working on this game interacts with the community a lot and is very transparent as well which is really nice.

In short, making a game within a game.

You can design your own maps as you can play on maps made by others, and I think it’s more fun to design maps than to play. It takes some practice to get used to the game mechanics, but you get used to it in less time. It can be a bug or kick it out of the game just because the game is newer. I know it will be fixed soon. It’s really fun to come up with something new.

Restitched

Restitched

This product is in development and subject to change.

A 2.5D puzzle-platformer featuring a robust level editor, expansive character customization, an engaging story mode, and a charming crafty aesthetic. Restitched follows the story of a brave, adventurous teddy bear named Stuffy on a journey to find their roots. Along the way, Stuffy must ‘restitch’ a community unraveled by corporate greed and tyranny while discovering new friends, new foes, and new locations.

Construction Mode

With an in-game level editor called ‘Construction Mode’, you can build your own platforming adventures for Stuffy to take part in! Browse community creations via the Steam Workshop, or publish your own levels. Construction Mode is also a great sandbox playground!

Stuffy’s Wardrobe

Stuffy is not only cute but also stylish. With an assortment of in-game cosmetic items to collect and use, your very own Stuffy can be what you make them! Dress Stuffy from head-to-toe with a variety of cosmetic items across multiple categories.

The Adventure

Embark on an adventure with your new plush companion as you venture through new themes, meet new friends, and encounter new obstacles. This platforming adventure sees Stuffy searching for answers while reconnecting a torn community along the way. Could it all be connected? Will Stuffy find their owner?

Created by the Community, for the Community

Restitched is a labor of love from like-minded UGC enthusiasts, aspiring developers, creative students, and more. This game is a love letter to our own favorite UGC experiences from the past, and we hope to inspire future creatives in the same way we’ve been inspired to make Restitched!

a game like no other - basically the premise is that you’re a tee and your goal is to reach the finish on whatever map you’re playing. there’s tons of maps all by different people so there’s always something to explore.

there’s tons of special mechanics too, and the more you improve the more things you learn. in this game, there are these blocks called “freeze blocks” that make you unable to move. you can play with friends who can help you pass the level. there’s tons of insane clutch moments where only one guy isn’t in the freeze and he/she has to help everyone out - it can be really intense.

Probably one of my favorite games. Very rewarding once you get into it, but it can be very challenging and frustrating, especially when you’re starting to learn the mechanics. There are a lot of little nuances which can be challenging to get used to. Even after 500 hours, I don’t feel as though I’m even close to scratching the surface of what this game has to offer. There are many game modes, some more casual than others, but if you have a group of friends to play with it’s a great time. If you don’t have a group of friends, then you’ll have a pretty easy time of making some in-game. Most everyone’s nice and willing to help you. If you play enough, you’ll get to know most people and they’ll get to know you. Be patient with this game, it’s worth it if you give it some time.

Like cute cats, like frantic gameplay, like solving puzzles.

This 2D action puzzle game could be just what the wizarding cat in a hat ordered.

Try the demo first, see if you like it.

In early access :

60/200 levels are present. 200 are planned.

Weekly updates as I complete things and add levels and enemy types.

Level editor working and saving allowing you to play custom levels you make. (This is fully functional, but at the moment tuned to mouse not gamepad, gamepad still works but not optimal)

Nice idea and good game. Keeps you coming back to see if you can finally get past that level. Masses of levels still to play and there are more that you can download. There’s also a designer so you can make your own levels. The challenges are quite tricky even for the experienced platformer.

Tomb Rumble

Tomb Rumble

It’s like a Celeste and Towerfall mixup,

Instead of an strawberry you have to get a crystal, and instead of using arrows to kill others you use traps

Oh, and you can create your own maps, pretty cool

After trying this game out for a short while, I can say two things for sure:

1. While it’s clearly not a Transformice, this game creates a very similar fun and enjoyable vibe

2. I want to actually play Tomb Rumble more!

The pixel visuals fits perfectly for a MMO platformer, and controls are quite good - so far I didn’t had any trouble with movement, which in that kind of game is important. I can’t say much about

I suggest you to try the game yourself, since Tomb Rumble is a free to play title. It doesn’t take much space on HDD, you don’t need to create any external accounts to play it, and each game/level doesn’t take much time. Since Tomb Rumble launched just recently, there are many people playing it online so you won’t get bored.
