Joyspring
The game has a beautiful art style, great story and awesome music but the platforming is super difficult but not always in a great way.
Some of the pathways you must navigate down are super narrow and require precise timing but in some places they seem a bit too narrow. There are also spikes sticking out of the walls but they are usually positioned in places that you are likely to dash into or to make you float around and restricting and leeway the game could give you.
The game also can slow down in some levels just a little making some of the timing to be harder to achieve and the game did stop working for a few seconds though it didn’t shut down and was okay afterwards.

A 2D puzzle like platformer with a twist and an interesting story, A simple yet captivating art style accompanied by soothing music, hard and frustrating at times, but when you manage to pass a level you feel joy as the weight of failing over and over lifts from your shoulders.
I haven’t played this game for a very long time nor have I completed it however that, is how I would describe Joyspring to my friends.
The fact that this game is free is mind blowing. I wish the music, although soothing, had more variation to it, at time I often felt bored due to the lack of submersion, I think that if it did have more exiting music and sound design. It even got to the point where sometime I would play my own music over the game rather that the music that came with the game.
