Lucky me gets to write the first English review for Neon Parkour.
Neon Parkour is a 2D minimalist platformer that looks and feels like a basic Unity Asset flip, although I couldn’t see any distinct asset store asset that matches. It still has all the qualities of one, looking more like a concept than a game. Minimalist/low effort “art”, simple, unengaging gameplay.
A bunch of what look like fake reviews all in Turkish, an immediate dump into cheap nasty game bundles to grab as much cash from this as possible, and a somewhat ambitious $2 price tag for this shovelware rounds out everything people should know about this “game”.

Vector
Now don’t mistake my vote for a No as a recommendation speak for the game, I actually personally liked it but there is some problems to me that it got my vote and reasons for it which I’ll mention.
First off I’m gonna point out this game is as you can tell by clips on youtube or even trailer on steam that it’s a 2D side scroller runner, that’s good no problem. But the thing it doesn’t point out in trailer or store description that it’s an entire set route for each level. I unknowingly bought this game thinking I go through each level any direction I want to go to get to end, but for the most points and even money to buy tricks you have to always take the route that follows the points basically leaving me with idea it’s just a memorize learn it by heart to do it right kind of game instead of idea I had when I bought it. Enemy chaser is quite a skilled runner himself and he takes same path himself so if you diverge to explore the map that has more obstacles and that actually peaks your interest he will quickly catch up or even get ahead of you giving you game over and having to restart ALL way to the beginning which removes your intention of exploring the level and it gets repetetive and honetsly quite boring from going the same route over and over just to get all points and cash and to always keep ahead of guard just to even beat the level.

Exposition, Concurrence and Summation
Vector is a runner. It’s more puzzle and timing based than reaction speed. After the initial run that is; the opening cut-scene informs you of a world not dissimilar to a cyberpunk style “1984”. It’s essentially a 2D Mirror’s Edge.

Rolf
Rolf is an indie game that has fun cuphead/Mario vibes. It is full of fun fast paced levels that are challenging to beat. But even though the levels are challenging, you will quickly learn the fun mechanics of the game. If you have enjoyed playing cuphead or enjoy other platformers such as mario this is the game for you.

Big NEON Tower VS Tiny Square
I love the arcade aesthetic of this game, and its very much like the original on coolmathgames.com, the only problem is, when i close the app it doesn’t register as closed and i have to shut down steam if i want to play it again. edit: the bug i mentioned is fixed

Challenging but fun platformer game. Sooooo relieved there are checkpoints throughout to save my progress! Never thought being laughed at by Security boxes could feel so…personal haha :(. Love the neon theme and music, feels like the 80s.

I really like this game!! It definitely took a little bit for me to get the hang of, but once I got the controls down, I was good to go!! It took me a few tries to get all the data cubes on level 2, but now that I’ve collected all for level 1 and 2, I’m challenging myself to see how fast I can complete each level WHILE collecting all the data cubes. I hope more levels come to this game, the art is super cool and the game runs really nicely!!

Little Triangle
I HATE this game as it’s so incredibly difficult for me even in casual mode (but I finished it, though I almost broke my keyboard and my wrist (kidding))! I can’t image how mad I will get if I choose to hardcore mode TT. And I’ll never try hardcore mode!
But I still wanna say it’s excellent! Each level has some new elements, whatever a new kind of enemy or a new type of trap.
If I don’t remember wrong, there is no one monster work as exactly same as other monster, they all have their own attack mode and other functions, like someone can be a platform for player to stand upon it.

Bob and Prickle
Bob and Prickle is a fast-paced platformer shooter game where you fight against the evil company NZT who is hellbent on ruling the city of Lightbul. You control Bob, a self proclaimed superhero, (who is actually just an unemployed fat guy) and his assistant Prickle.
Fire up your jet pack and get ready to shoot all the enemies who stand in your way because NZT created a drug called ‘catrik’ which transforms humans into a new form known as Mazloms. You will encounter many Mazloms along your journey, but don’t worry because Professor Mellon Elusk is there to help. Choose your favorite weapon and show NZT just how powerful you are!
Although Bob and Prickle are polar opposites, the relationship between them is very special. The “Jumping Cholla” as they call themselves will both take part in saving Lightbul with many jokes and roasts along the way. With Prickle’s special powers you will be able to do so much more than you can imagine, it will add a great atmosphere while playing.
Bob and Prickle is set in the 2040s where flying cars and robots are the norm, but despite these technological advancements, you will still feel a sense of familiarity as you explore the world. In order to destroy NZT, you need to track and takedown those who work there while also encountering different bosses and enemies along the way.
The action won’t stop in Lightbul, you will always use your guns and call Prickle for his special powers, these two won’t fear anything. They may not be the best people for the job but they will try to get it done somehow. Bob was a mall cop, but there are no other brave men who Prof. Elusk can use to save the city, so Elusk is the brains and Bob is the muscle – Prickle is just here to make sure Bob doesn’t screw things up. Each plan will involve a lot of shooting, jumping from flying cars, and helping out everyone in need.
B&P is coming in the first quarter of 2020 and will feature:
-
Fast and smooth gameplay
-
Addictive shooting mechanics
-
Involving story
-
A lot of bang bangs
-
Variation of weapons, bombs and powers
-
Humor and dead jokes

Game description key-points: as short and simple it’s a Hard-core 2D platformer
– Real player with 3.1 hrs in game
Just Old stylizes itself as a “Hardcore” 2d sidescroller game. but in reality is sloppily put together glitch filled mess. Mechanics wise the game is unforgiving like it advertises, but mechanics are broken such as the rope literally detaching itself from it’s positioning while you climb. The gameplay comes off as sluggish with enemy ui and the player character’s movement speed is unbalanced and often causes unintended mistakes during your run. Functions intended to make the game “hard” instead come off as pretentious and tedious such as the no save function or restarting the game from level one every time you die.The soundtrack also grows from mildly annoying to aggravating as your deaths from stupid mechanics start to pile up. If you have some money and want to piss yourself off buy Risk of Rain 2; you’d have a lot more fun.
