Creep

Creep

Creep is a 2D platform game that takes place inside a struggled person’s inner world represented as a worm world. You control the worm form of the same person as he shows why this world exists and how it’s like to live there.

I have no friends and life is full of obstacles

Yes, it is hard to say the other worms in the world are friendly, and there are lots of other dangers you will encounter. There is no one else other than you to cope with all these. Your only weapon is your wit against this crooked world until you reach the point to hell with it. This won’t just go forever like that. Your relationship with other worms will change as you progress.

I once loved too

Throughout the story, you will occasionally visit some memories or analogical mini levels with different gameplay than the main part of the game. These levels will unlock new abilities the worm can use. These abilities are not mere powers. They are part of the actual character progression itself and they will start to change the main gameplay and story.

Escape Zolstar

I finished this in just over 3 hours. At least an hour of that I was running around trying to figure out where to go at one particular point, mostly my own fault, but partly because of a somewhat sadistic jump you are expected to make in between laser beams. After many tries, I assumed I needed a dash or some other power-up to make the jump and quit trying.

The game has several places where there is a very long and tedious gauntlet between save points. At least two of them had me on the verge of giving up. I have no idea why I keep paying money to put myself through this.

Gryphon Knight Epic: Definitive Edition

Gryphon Knight Epic: Definitive Edition:

After having defeated the enormous dragon that destroyed the all the crops and the army of the kingdom of Valiantskies, and of course, having saved the Princess, the leader of a group of eight heroes, Sir Oliver, fell deeply in love with the Princess as they stared into each other’s eyes for the first time. In the meantime, the other party members were already at the defeated Dragon’s Lair, taking possession of his gold, and most importantly, of seven powerful magic weapons! By the time Sir Oliver arrived at the Lair, there was plenty of gold for him to scoop away, along with an amulet, but no more special weapons. Years have passed, and Sir Oliver is now married to the Princess and has a child, but life is now kind of boring, his only outing being with his amazing Gryphon Aquila to gather food for supper. Until one day . . . he comes face to face with his own spectre, which is his total opposite and swears to destroy him, all thanks the Amulet he found years prior in the Dragon’s Lair.

Classic arcade shoot 'em up (shmup) with polished pixel graphics, metroidvania-lite depth, upgrade systems, and a clear megaman influence; rock paper scissors style weapon acquisition between bosses – minus the punishing difficulty.

It's a breath of fresh air in an otherwise saturated roguewhatever/massive metroidvania market. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a lot of roguelite/likes and love metroidvanias, but sometimes you just want a burger, not a six course meal. The game is still challenging; you'll probably die at least a few times even if you're a bullet-hell junky (which this game also is not).

## SJ-19 Learns To Love!

A very to-the-point Metroidvania.

SJ-19 Learns To Love! doesn't play around with hidden rooms, power-ups drop directly from bosses and the map features clear cut landmarks.

You'll know exactly where to return to once you've drained the water system for example.

You play as SJ-19, a droid fortunate enough to be selected from storage and immediately instructed to follow in a long line of killing machines. This plays nicely against the simple cute aesthetic presented by the game visuals, as bosses will ask you to reconsider fighting them, whilst the shops (which are characters) gleefully encourage you to get back to killing and pump up your Soul Power to increase your firepower. Every boss comes with an ability to be gained and a lesson to be learned (guess what the final one is?) as SJ-19 malfunctions and journeys through the recess of it's…programming?

After trying two metroidvanias that turned out to be terrible (Frauki's adventure and catmaze) I had low expectations for SJ-19\. However, this turned out to be actually good. It's got a good story, and good gameplay at the expense of content, graphics, and sound effects. The only downside is that the game is a bit overpriced and it has to be bought on sale.

Mina & Michi is a top down 2D advanture game, where a girls and his pet monster going together to take out the gelatin monsters.

I got this game from the developers, thank you guys!

Graphics is indeed cute and looking good. I really like this retro, pixelate graphics but at the same time looks really like a new game. Characters looks good and the effects are really nice.

Controlls is also pretty easy, however I was a madman and I tried to play this game alone, which was a bad idea… but it's workable. You can play the game on keyboard or controller too, pretty easy to play it!

## soundStrider

You will want two things: your headphones, and to read the game's manual before playing.

Even then, this isn't for everyone. If it is for you, you'll find a hypnotic soundscape worth exploring.

I would describe it as an audio-only walking simulator; there are minimal graphics (as you can see in the screenshots), but you can even turn them off completely and play only by sound. There are waypoints that you can hear, and you can walk from one to the next on a trance-like journey, finding strangely relaxing varied soundscapes. There aren't many games like this; of those somewhat similar that I played, it reminded me most of Proteus – but the focus on audio is of course much higher here.

Errrrrm, okaym well the 'game' does what it says you walk around and noises occur. pressing buttons on the controller did stuff and if I;m honest I have no clue as to what I was doing.

One big thing missing currently for a game that the Visually Impaired can play is Text to Speech in the menus. I dug around with my maginfier in hand and found a list of random settings, but no real accessibility options page.

I got in game and walked around randomly heading towards some sounds. Arrived at a sound and nothing seemed to happen, is this sound a 'breadcrumb'? it got louder and more annoying as I approached. Found a button on the controller that made a boing noise.

![EPEJSODION Dodgeball Attack](https://cdn.cloudflare.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/1391160/header.jpg "")

## EPEJSODION Dodgeball Attack

EPEJSODION Dodgeball Attack is a game where you play dodgeball in international leagues.

This game is so terrible, I don't know where to begin. It looks terrible, sounds atrocious, and it plays horribly. Even though you can look at the controls, in order to actually play the game, you can see some of the instructions in the beginning of the campaign, but that isn't enough. The hitbox detection is somewhere by the waist of these awkward characters from what I've managed to hit, but there seems to be no consistency. I don't understand the enemy and your teammate being behind your and enemy lines (maybe this is some other variant of dodgeball I haven't played before), but you have to knock out the enemy team, which I've gotten close once or twice, but I've given up because I have no desire to continue this game.
