Divekick

Divekick

BUY/SALE/PASS: Buy - Feel free to buy at full price

Divekick is a recent addition to the fighting game genre developed by Iron Galaxy Studios and released in late August. Everyone loves fighting games, right?

No. Not everyone. But why?

The fact of the matter is that for most fighting games the barrier to entry is complexity. Players must learn about each of the characters, how to perform special techniques, and master precision combinations on a six-button layout just to be able to compete.

Divekick is a fighting game you won’t need to spend hours in a training mode practicing combos that’ll never land anyway in order to get better. You may not immediately click with its unique parody of fighting games and general poking fun at the fighting game community, but at the very least, you’ll probably be pretty good at Divekick by the end of your first match due to its elegance in simplicity.

1 Dive Button.

1 Kick button.

1 hit and you’re dead.

5 rounds won and you’re godlike.

1 hell of a good time.

Dash Hale

Dash Hale

INHALE. SAVE THE WORLD. EXHALE. REPEAT.

Who needs guns or swords when the environment is on their side?

Better still: why not having them all?

Dash Hale is a combat-based runner set in a dynamic, freely rotating world: run faster or slower by changing the ground incline, turn it into a steep slope for sliding or drop to a free fall - bringing your enemies down with you.

Hunt bloodthirsty zombies in a pirate ship, survive rebellious machines in feudal Japan, face hellish demons in the cyberspace and escape giant rotating blades… everywhere. It may not make much sense, but you won’t have time to miss it.

  • Control Matt and the world around him: jump, swap between short and long-range attacks and rotate the world at will;

  • 10 kinds of enemies, 10 corresponding levels - which get mixed at the start of each scene;*

  • Upgrade your weapons and acquire new abilities through your journey;

  • Blood pumping electronic soundtrack;

This is basically a very bare bones version of divekick, but it was interesting and funny enough. I really only recommend this with the caveat that you are okay with throwing away $4.

Wanba Warriors

Wanba Warriors

Wanba Warriors is a brilliant example of creativity. The characters feel distinct and fresh, with some completely altering the theme of the match.

A novel system of character control at first is scary, but becomes incredibly rewarding. In Wanba, movement and melee are intertwined. Each mindgame, each feint renders you immobile (for most characters). The stamina system enables a game pace where patient and clever moves are rewarded.

I cannot give Wanba Warriors any recommendation other than to try it out. If you find it enjoyable, check out the discord for info on the tourney scene!

Wanba Warriors… a thing of mystery. A game within a game, a story within a machine, and a code within our nature. Wanba Worriors… it is everythig it ever needed to be, and is’t everything it ever was. now is it everything that it needed for it not to be, and also everything god made it to be? yes.

1. Do not play any other games they will all make you worse at Wanba.

2. slowly wither away from friends and faimily until u are only a shell of what you once were

3. wanba,work,sleep,repeat

3.* bliss

Super vs. World

Super vs. World

Its a cool 2D multiplayer game where you have to headstomp on on other players or get weapon/powerups from boxes to decrease their size and kill them.

There are many mode in this game like last standing wins, most kills wins, capture the area and more..

There are more then 100 challenges to complete for single player and a lot of character

Gachimuchi Life Simulator

Gachimuchi Life Simulator

Honestly, I expected more from the game, I didn’t like the music and there’s little gacha in common, the world didn’t like it either, it’s kind of open but at the same time empty

Yes, sometimes I want to spend an evening playing a game dedicated to my guilty pleasure. Perhaps someday I would like to have all the gachimuchi games in my library. As for this particular one, one of the advantages is minimalistic graphics, which allows you to run the game on any computer, the presence of game achievements, and my favorite sounds from the gachi. Nevertheless, the developer still has a lot of work to do.

That didn’t work for me. I got caught and got fired for it. They put a younger, prettier assistant in my place. But I doubt she types as fast as I do. They were the ones who lost

On the one hand, I really want to give the game a thumbs up for a creative and somewhat neat idea for a really cheap price.

On the other hand, though, I really must give it a thumbs down for not offering much at all, even at this price level plus thirty percent off; because in the end, cheap does just not justify bland.

I do enjoy any just semi-rewarding grinding game for a while, but looking at the short time invested here, I had rather counted cars drive by my window - even if the game had been for free. Where the game mechanics in any way challenging or rewarding, it would be a different story. However, it is random key bashing in it’s dullest form.

Crazy Critters - Combat Cats

Crazy Critters - Combat Cats

Haven’t played it much but so far its been a lot of fun! Its kinda like a very fast based platform arena type of game… Kinda reminds me of Teeworlds but without the hook!

The characters are unique and cute and every character has a unique passive! The guns are cool and the maps are fun!

Defenitely worth the price!

ps I love the grenades :D

Very cute platform-esque shooter. Simple concept, easy to grasp mechanics and fun to play. The cat sounds are a little annoying after a while, but that’s easily turned off in the options menu. The AI isn’t a bad opponent either
