CODE SHIFTER
Frequently called “ARC’s Smash Bros”, Code Shifter really isn’t, but it manages to be pretty fun as its own thing, if you can get past some bad first-impressions. Let’s get those out of the way first.
Code Shifter’s plot is overall a missed opportunity for fun, as it never lets the many crossover characters it features function as autonomous beings who react to each other’s presence or have any interactions with each other beyond fighting. Instead, they’re rendered just parts of a computer system that our heroine, Stella, must debug. That bookending story and dialog wherein Stella interacts with her coworkers, take up more space in this game than they really need to. The tale is advanced in an isometric office environment with RPG-like interactions, via captions accompanied with Banjo-Kazooie-like gibberish voices, and while nothing is outright unpleasant it doesn’t have much emotional impact either–and again, you’re probably not here for these bookending characters; anyway.

“Collect all the characters from the Arc System Works franchises!ヽ(=´▽'=)ノ”
[1] Intro
CODE SHIFTER. It is an arcade action game produced by LAND HO! and published by Arc System Works. As you may know, Land Ho! is a Japanese video game development company founded(1999) by the former Sega marketer. Regarding game production, it seems to have been mainly outsourcing or subcontracting. The reason mentioned them first is that knowing the developer’s background can help you understand the game as a whole.

Bounty Battle
After a few post-release patches, Bounty Battle is now playing smoothly. It aims for Smash Bros' simplicity: normal attacks are varied by holding a direction with a button press, special attacks function the same way, and that’s it. No combos, no counters, and no secret special moves. The problem is the game couldn’t stop itself there. The additional systems are all certainly well-meaning: an energy cost for special attacks to encourage mixing in normal ones, spamming punishments to discourage button mashers, and a bounty system to keep the pressure on whoever is doing the best. Sadly the latter, which the game takes its name from, makes the best case for why these extra systems are superfluous.

I’ve put almost 10 hours into the game which I feel is enough to write a review fairly. So first off yes there is a lot of issues that need to be addressed (the discussions says it all) But! that doesn’t mean the game isn’t fun. I was able to look the other way with all the issues and actually enjoy the game fully and I have to say it’s actually good! A lot of people may not agree with me but i’m not here to argue i’m here to say that this game does have a lot of potential and even though it got released with high expectations for a lot of gamer’s and was not delivered at launch does not mean you should look the other away and ignore this game. I realize that the developers are a small crew and that it will take time to address all the known issues but for the mean time I support this game fully. I’ve enjoyed the content it has at the moment and I am happy I purchased this on day one, this way I can see the game grow and evolve into something even more amazing then it already is! If your hesitant on purchasing the game definitely wish list it and keep an eye out for upcoming updates otherwise I recommend it. Be patient as in time the game will slowly become what everyone wanted.

Breakers Collection
Breakers Collection features both of the original games (Breakers and Breakers Revenge) and a brand new content for the cult-classic among the fans of Fighting Games, that was first released in 1996 for the Neogeo and Arcades and after released with a sequel in 1998 with additional playable characters, balance adjustments and new gameplay elements.
Breakers Collection is a simple action-fighting game, with a rooster with many playable characters (10 in Breakers Revenge), that were all known by the fans from around the world.
The special actions are also similar to other fighting games from the same era, although the dashing and back-stepping techniques tend to differ between characters.
The collection version, the player will have more features and modes, like online versus mode - Rollback Netcode (GGPO) -, Art gallery and the most requested one, the training mode.
Combo Babies
100% one of the most unique fighting games, if you love anime fighters like guilty gear and want a unique (and interestingly balanced) take on a lot of systems this game is a great one to look at

A really fun fighting game that I highly recommend. The training mode is easy to use and have fun, rhythm game inspired combo trials. All of the characters feel really good to play as and the universal inputs for each character make picking any of them up easy. The inclusion of mechanics such as roman cancels is really cool and the movement almost feels like you’re in a platform fighter. If you have a spare $10 and like fighting games there’s no reason not to pick this game up.

King of the Streets
After 5 hours of play i very much like this game. unlocking characters is one of my favourite aspects of fighting games as it gives a lot to strive for and the addition of being able to see how to unlock things in the game is very helpful. Although playing through to the boss i encountered a bug where he killed me before he could preform a finisher which meant the round wouldn’t end and i couldn’t restart the match. other than that i am very much enjoying this game

Old school fighting game with plenty of unlockable characters and stages. First time in a while I played a fighting game where you actually had to unlock the characters instead of buying a season pass. The graphics are pre rendered like the old Killer Instinct. So anyone should be able to run it. The main issue with the game is that controller support is buggy. Game was abandoned by the developer so whatever bugs are there will not be fixed. Can no longer recommend.

Crazy Flasher Series 2021
