Agent Murphy
Not a bad game for the price, something like the old games on the phone. The game is quite difficult (the first boss has not yet been defeated) although the bots in the game behave quite strangely, perhaps this makes the game a little more difficult, but it seemed weirdly to me.

Not a bad game for the price, but the boss fights are horribly imbalanced. The first two bosses (I quit after the second) both fire explosives, which kill you instantly if you’re within their fairly large hitboxes. There’s no graphic effect for the explosion so it’s impossible to tell how big they are. What makes this worse is you have to restart the boss level entirely, so you have to drag yourself all the way back to them just to restart the fight. Since you get killed instantly, there’s not much point to fighting enemies along the way. which undermines that aspect of the game on boss levels.

This game is incredibly fun to play. It’s a fresh take on the fighting game genre and I’ve enjoyed playing it with my friends and family. Would absolutely recommend that anyone.

NAIR
The concept of this game is quite simple, but it’s executed in a way that makes it really fun. Movement/dash dancing feels super natural, and the combos are fun.
Everyone says red is overpowered and yes, red does have a ton of tools, but I think blue players will be developing good counterplay soon.

Super Bout: Champion’s Tour
I’ve played fighting games competitively for over 15 years now, and heard about this game and got to help play test it.
It plays like how you might imagine: an old-school fighting game but made with all of the knowledge of the past 25+ years of fighting game history. People who are already competitive in fighting games will be able to dive in right away. But someone who has never played a fighting game before (and even children) will be able to grasp it and have fun giving beatings.

Surprisingly clean movements and game play. Has a fairly complex priority system for moves compared to “modern” fighting games. Actually has stable online/lobby system.

FrightShow Fighter
The unique hand drawn visuals are creepy, and cute. The gameplay is similar to a 16-bit era Street Fighter wanna be, in a good way. Although characters are either gimped or broken, playing the game is fun, and with rebalancing and reconfiguring of the inputs (which are on the way) this game and it’s kooky cast of characters could be a great entry level fighter. If you’re looking for Street Fighter, Tekken, or Guilty Gear level of complex gameplay systems… slow down buddy, this game was made for tablet. But it’s still vert fun to play!

An excellent fighter, with awesome music. Controls may be a bit difficult for some to wrap their heads around, but once you get acustemed to them the game becomes a whole lot easier. Great to play with friends!

Gender Bender
Its two player only.

So, bought this on a whim to record a video thinking “okay, might get a few chuckles off of this” – also thought this could be a secret alt-right propganda game (which it wasn’t, obviously haha) – and oh man, this is a great smash bros demake.
The alternate to the human species genders that you can choose from are pretty hilarious (example Kindergender is a, for lack of better term “molester van” with the words “free candy” scribbled on the side and an attack featuring a stick figure handing candy out).

Super GMA
So. I adore indie games. By far my favorite genre. And while I can get into some of the more main stream titles out there, there’s nothing quite like playing a game that a small group of people, if not just one person, pours their heart into.
Super GMA is an 8-bit fighting game with 8 characters to choose from. And that could have been all that was put into it, but it isn’t. Each character gets their own unique backstory in the campaign and once you beat it, you get to see the resolve to their story. Everything that you see and hear during the game was done by one person and that is where this game gets it’s charm. Great music, with an interesting twist on fighting games where once you hit the enemy, you gain a bit of health back. Nice fair fighting. I have yet to play the local multiplayer but I look forward to doing so.

Super Knockoff! VS
Please Note: While I DO Recommend this game, for the most part, I recommend it ONLY if you have someone to play it and a controller. Otherwise, despite my love for TFS, it’s hard to recommend it or anyone playing by themselves and/or WITHOUT a controller. This game is almost EXCLUSIVELY MULTIPLAYER. While there is TECHNICALLY a single player mode, all it really does is give you a chance to practice maneuverability, attacking, and getting used to a character(Which by and large ISN"T a bad thing). That being said, voice acting, music and character designs are fantastic! When I CAN play the game, it is really enjoyable.

This is a couch-party game, with no online or CPUs. While this is a shame, the experience of local play still won this game over for me. The multiplayer is fast-paced and stupid fun with varied characters and weapons at your disposal.
I can only recommend buying it if you have a group of friends willing to play along side you, in order to partake in the game’s nostalgic coach-play. Oustside of that narrow field, there isn’t anything that would appeal to a single-player experience.

Them’s Fightin' Herds
This game will forever mean something special to me, even if I’ve had to shelve it and move on as a result of my own obsessions with victory/how I’m perceived by others. It’s almost impossible to be fully objective after everything that’s happened since I started following it closely circa late 2011, but I’ll try…and I’ll keep it to a bulleted list for brevity.
PROS:
- 6 (now 7, likely 8 at some point in the future) extremely-well-fleshed-out characters who are all viable at every skill level, and wholly unique in their movement/offensive capabilities. A small tier spread in 1.0 was noticable, but 2.0 appears to have narrowed the gaps in viability, further evening the odds across the cast.

The most fun fighting game I’ve played up to this point. While the game is still in early access, it’s got enough content for those mostly interested in the fighting game aspect of it.
Pros:
- Beginner-friendly, if you’re newer to fighting games. There’s 3 main attack buttons and a fourth “Magic” button, which is used for each character’s unique attack system. Learning to combo is as easy as A-B-C (The main buttons are literally named A, B, and C), with no crazy specific timing for a lot of basic combos. It also has a tutorial that teaches players just about every mechanic they need to know about, from basic blocking to things like framedata.

BackSlash
I’ve played this game for 10h now and it’s very cool, if you just want to chill you can do some duels and if you have some hours free you can try the solo mod. The game is never boring, it doesn’t take to much on the brain, but with its mechanics you can still think about few strategy against each clan and if you try the solo mod you better to because getting every medals is really challenging.
It’s a cool old-like game with some good mechanics of its own.
And personally I think its the perfect game if you have time to kill.
