By Any Means Necessary

All in all a very good game, especially for its price.

You basically play a big campaign within a world that seems to be far bigger than what you see. And even if there aren‘t a lot of areas, there‘s much to see and you are getting rewarded for exploring.

You play 6 different characters, which you can interchange within battle. Every characters has a unique set of skills, while there‘s still room for customization by using scrolls, that give them additional skills or attributes. You find the scrolls by exploring or doing side-quests.

VasterClaws 3:Dragon slayer of the God world

VasterClaws 3:Dragon slayer of the God world

  • This game mainly targets exploring dungeons (god worlds) with semi-auto battle

  • The atmosphere of god worlds is great, also the music is great, but some god worlds share the same BGM

  • Various skills. Some skills are useful in the beginning, some are useful in god world phase, some are useful in tournament, some are buff, some are always weak. I think the combination of skills is one of the most interesting parts in this game. But since there are so many skills, sometimes it’s hard to understand which skill can be used to block the specific skills

I enjoyed this it’s pretty well written with only a few typos and it’s only an hour long. The characters are a bit bland and the story isn’t anything too dynamic and crazy, but it was interesting. Some of the dialogue can be bad choices in combat but instead of making you start all over from a save point it just makes you go through the choices again until you pick correctly, so that’s nice and merciful by the creators.

The plot is a bit boring, but it’s good as a free visual novel.

Assassination game similar to The Deed but longer & contain more story

The only cons i can think is the translation while decent is not perfect(Originally russian indie game)

the menu remain in russian though through trial and error i can guess which is one is load/save/item

All in all it’s worth it for a few dollars

Too bad the translation is incomplete in the last part..all russian..didnt understand single things

Crystal sword

Crystal sword

Alright, so it’s Pac Man… BUT instead of getting the super pill to eat ghosts you have to power your Crystal Sword with all the Crystal… Dots… to start thrusting it into things. Like enemies. Who are not immune to being stabbed.

Because everything can get stabbed if you try hard enough. It also helps that your health is replenished once you finish charging the sword.

A Boss Fight every 5 levels, with their own way of doing defeating them, though 2 of the bosses are easily cheesed.

Alright so hear me out, this game feels very unpolished but I am going to recommend it for 2 reasons.

Real player with 0.7 hrs in game

While very short, being only 20 levels long, it’s a charming little project with an interesting concept.

You essentially have two phases for each level. One where you run from enemies and collect crystal shards to restore the power in your sword, and the other where your sword is powered up and you need to kill all the enemies on-screen, then get to a door to continue.

I haven’t seen anything like it before, it’s short and sweet, and the boss theme accompanied by lyrics at the end was really nice and made me really happy to have played.

Doll Explorer is a game about slavery and profit! The character designs are great! Play as a witch who is opposed to manual labour so she takes the role of master and sends her colourful companion, a doll to almost certain death for the financial benefit of our magical lead. Following the commands of her master, via cards the doll has to face a variety of challenges, in this puzzle style game including but not limited to environmental hazards, monsters and the clock (limited turns).

I can’t help but feel like this game shares some parallels with reality. People will use one another for profit, and put others in harms way…. all to get that sweet sweet booty ;P
