Season of War (Alpha)

Season of War (Alpha)

Season of War (The story of the past) — a complete reinterpretation of the classic Adventure.

Expressive presentation of the epic plot of Season of War, unusual and colourful action, music and pleasant graphics in the game will allow you to spend time with pleasure.

The plot of the game!

live together with Antonizar the history of his formation and Glory. Together with your colleagues, having passed through severe trials, create a Hammer guild, save Engelm, uncover the plot of Morhrok!

RPG-arcade action game!

The Season of War combat system has no analogues. This is a proprietary development of the SinorCreate team!

It is represented by a combination of conventional shooting, typical for arcade games, using the abilities and individual techniques of the heroes, which is typical for an RPG. Juicy and bright effects and a well-thought-out balance of forces complement the energy of the fights! Each character is played absolutely differently. And the pace of the battle will only add emotions to the fight!

An expressive game world!

In the Season of War locations, you can feel a piece of the soul of each of the development team! There are no identical locations in the game. As the story progresses, the world changes from dim to brighter.

Epic Bosses!

At the end of the chapters of the game, you meet with Bosses. Each of them is unique. Everyone has their own story and motives.

Gilbert:

For the greedy Gilbert, only money and power are important. He is ruthless, cunning and swift. But Rastor is also not a miss. His techniques are powerful. But only the skill of the player can decide the outcome of the battle.

Islock:

Stop the naive and arrogant Islok. Save the magician from the consequences of rash actions. Fight him in his illusory world.

We are not standing still!

The game is not ready yet. But we have already released 13 updates, five of them are global.

We have reworked the Gameplay, Graphics and partially the Plot!

We are completing the Alpha testing and moving on to the Beta test. The output is planned: 4-5 chapters (instead of two and the beginning of the third), new Heroes, Bosses, Locations!

The release is planned: for the middle of 2023.

Your opinion is important to us!

We are happy to communicate directly with the player if he wants! The opportunity for communication is realized. Many innovations and improvements were proposed by users. If you have any ideas, we are always happy to listen!

No Donation or Microtransactions!

By purchasing the game, you get a guarantee that updates will be sent to you in the future. You will not need to pay extra for anything. The game will never have donat options, and your opinion will definitely be listened to.

If you bought the Game – you bought the whole game.

Epic Dumpster Bear: Dumpster Fire Redux

Epic Dumpster Bear: Dumpster Fire Redux

Don’t judge this game by its cobbled together graphical assets; they actually end up adding to the charm once you realize how good the game is! Epic Dumpster Bear is a very enjoyable platformer with a good deal of content. It’s got a lot of levels, 3 hidden collectible coins in each, some secret exits for optional harder levels, and speedrun challenge medals. It’s also pretty challenging in generally fair ways (harder than Mario, easier than Meat Boy), even for experienced platforming game players. Also the soundtrack is super good. $5 is a very fair price for the amount that you get with this game.

Epic Dumpster Bear: Dumpster Fire Redux is a funny and challenging platformer that is fun to play. You play as a bear whose natural habitat has been destroyed by “an evil corporation” and you are out for revenge. The simple story coupled with the actual gameplay really reminds me of the classic 8-16-bit games such as Mario and Sonic titles.

Epic Dumpster Bear 2: He Who Bears Wins

If you haven’t played the first Dumpster Bear, you should know that it’s not just a meme game. It’s a fast-paced, actually pretty good platformer. Each level has 3 hidden red coins to collect and speedrun medals to achieve. There are optional, more challenging levels that are unlocked through secret exits and spending the yellow coins you collect while playing. And there are goofy boss battles and over-dramatic cutscenes. The soundtrack is actually original and composed specifically for Dumpster Bear, and it’s a real highlight of the game.

While I recommend this game, it’s with the caveat that you understand that this is not a ‘Zone Clear’ game. Unless you use the tools put into your hands AND get lucky, spend excess time traveling the areas and picking up XP if you want a good bit of cushioning between your characters and the power level of the bullshit that will be placed in your path.

The orc fort, as has been mentioned elsewhere, has a fucking dragon halfway through the area. Even though there is a contingent opportunity that you can pick up some dragon-slaying arrows, they are not guaranteed to kill the damn thing and your level will be too low to fight it head on if you have followed the story path.

A work of Art

For the longest time I refused to buy this game. It looks just like Ultima 6 but that was a game from 1990.. It also plays very much like the game but with tweeks and rules from the beloved 3.5DnD. With that being said, I don’t think this game will sell well. 20$ is an outrageous sum.. It needs to be 10$. Only die hard fans of 3.5 would throw their money at this at first glance. I understand that some developers are artists, and this is worthy of being art. If the developer can afford to do this, then I guess that’s fine. However, they are missing their chance to expose their art to thousands of people who enjoy the old school. I don’t think they realize that there are hundreds of similar games that are either free or for half the price. So when people see that price tag they will pass it up as I did. As I said, I refused to buy this and probably would never have. In contrast, when I heard that some of the quests were based on classic DnD modules that I enjoyed, I forked out the cash.

Pros

• Huge open world adventure for you to explore

• Several side missions

• Character design is unforgettable

• Main story is breathtaking, the ending impacted my view on the world forever

Cons

• Unskippable cutscenes (not that you’d want to)

• Price is a little high for my liking, but forgivable due to the stunning gameplay and features inside

Overall

A truly immaculate creation. Visuals are great, world creation is marvelous. Allows you to create your own original character straight from the Peppa Pig franchise. It makes you feel like you really are a part of the Peppa Pig universe. Makes other games like Sekiro : Shadows Die Twice pitiful. Could be considered a GOTY contender.

SGS Afrika Korps

SGS Afrika Korps

I came across SGS Afrika Corps via a Youtube “First Look” video which then led me to a couple more in depth videos. After watching those and the Developers own short tutorial videos I was hooked!

Why? Because I think it is a nice blend of complexity and simplicity combined in one game. I like a game like this that offers a variety of interesting scenarios, some short, some longer. That can be played in an evening or longer depending on the scenario. The variety of cards that can come into play adds variety in playing the scenario. There’s a lot of thought one must give in choosing which card or cards to play and when to do so.

A nice old school wargame. You can lead the Axis or Allies troops in the North African front. The game offers the possibility to play the major battles plus a long campaign lasting from the early 1941 to late 1942. The gameplay reminds a classic board-game stile, the counters are informative and beautifully crafted, every turn consists of a number of phases in which you draw and play event cards, place reinforcements, move air wings, troops and resolve battles. The event cards impact the units combat values, boost the troops supply, add extra reinforcements, impact leaders and so on.

Not a bad little puzzle/action game. I love the mini games, but wish there was a way to pick which you played as they are unlocked, instead of random each time.

Not sure if I am sold on the difficulty being longer levels with higher point threshold, but it’s an impressive feat nonetheless for an RPG Maker game to look like this AND have such variety.

The Good:

  • Short download time

The Bad:

  • Unskippable text / cutscenes

  • Horrible hitboxes, both for catching gems and in mini games

  • No explanation of gem values to let you score better

  • Some characters don’t have portraits when you interact with them. It just says “NPC” instead

Not worth it even on sale.

The Henry Stickmin Collection

The Henry Stickmin Collection

EPIC. SERIOUSLY. My review is quite late, but if your wondering to buy this, buy it. The storyline at the end all connects and just clicks, it’s got amazing graphics that it can even run on a windows 10 without any problems. The only problem i see with this is that.. its quite short. I complete this game almost in 3 days and i already have 80 achievements. I still enjoyed playing through this game, its really amazing but sad, because this is going to be the last henry stickmin game. I find this also really useful for showcases because its got all the games in one, so you dont have to go onto newgrounds or something like that to find the actual games, they are all there. And the amounts of bios is INSANE. I cannot collect all of them in completing the mission and i only have like 208. I definately recommend this to any youtubers out there, this game is still popular and might give your channel some potential, JUST IN CASE theres gonna secretly be more… So, small youtubers, you can try to grow your channel a little bit with this game! This game also contains alot of references to diffrent games, and actually contains HUMOR. I sometimes actually chuckled on these fails, they are hillarious. 9.9/10 game, its a little bit short, but amazing. Would recommend this game to anyone.

! i had to get a mouse for this game to right click the bios

To be fair, the game itself is short. And yes, you can essentially “experience” the whole thing on a youtube video. But the amount of dedication and time made into making hilarious situations and parts to trick the player are so funny and entertaining to see. The developer obviously poured their hearts to make this masterpiece, so I would recommend getting it to support them and be tricked by options that make absolutely 0 sense.

I am writing this review due to receiving a free guide. I’ve played lots of RPGMaker games and several Aldorea games. Aldorea games are enjoyable but they usually stick to their game mechanics with each game which i personally don’t like. To explain: The biggest peeve i have with Aldorea games is that they hide way too much stuff; areas, rooms, gear, items, money. This leads to 2 problems. With such a large amount of hidden things they force you to buy the guide to be able to get a complete game experience with their games forcing more money out of customers. The other thing this leads to is searching every nook and cranny which quickly becomes boring and tedious. Not to mention a huge amount of unnecessary wear on a controller. Another thing they tend to do is have random encounters which becomes frustrating because it ruins your ability to explore. While exploring you are frequently thrown into battles and when its over your left with remembering what you were doing and what you have already done. They do this mostly with their earlier games. The last thing they tend to do is allow missing during combat. What makes the combat enjoyable is being able to implement strategies but it screws off your carefully planned strategy when your big killer blow that would drop them misses and since they are still alive they swiftly proceed to kick you in the nards and now you are taking damage and what not when you had a solid plan - this to me takes out most of the strategy for the player and is frustrating and annoying. Even after all that they are still enjoyable games for the money. I mean, how can you not have fun. I have been playing video games since pong, com64, asteroids, i was there. All that time, my first and last love has always been old school turn-based rpg games and I really love RPGMaker games. These kind of games have it all- Exploring and dungeon crawling, character and party development, cool equipment, skills, and spells to create a party to your style, quests, adventure, and you even get a story and often enjoyable music. I believe that the only reason that you wouldn’t have a good time is that for whatever reason you decide you don’t want to because even though during play there are some things I don’t like I always have a great time. Don’t poo-poo on old school RPG games and RPGMaker games, they are always fun and if you don’t like them, I think it’s more on you than the games. I really hope that Aldorea and all the other RPGMaker game developers continue to keep pumping out games forever. Even though they can improve they still put out very enjoyable games. I appreciate all the hard work that they put into what they do. I have talked to the developers and they put their hearts and souls into these games, earning a living doing what they love. My hats off to all involved. These games are inexpensive and a great value for the gaming hours to price ratio. Love it!!!

Asguaard is like paradise for everyone who loves to explore!

The story is very nice. Asguaard is a land of dwarves and fairies. A wonderful place, but now in danger because the Pandora Box has been opened and seven plagues are about to destroy the land. Only a human can save the world and the dwarves manage to summon even two of them, Glen and Rayanne. Accompanied by the faithful dwarf Grom and a little unicorn they set off to find what’s necessary to prevent the worst from happening.

If I should choose one word to describe Asguaard, it would be HUGE. Huge world maps and huge dungeons with many many secrets to discover. There are countless Hidden Locations (on the world maps) and Magical Rooms (in dungeons or villages …) to be found and if you explore thoroughly you’ll be well rewarded.

Lord of the click

Lord of the click

Overview:

Clicker games use clicking as an additional mechanic in a game, normally with other features like upgrades to the clicking, auto-clicking, DPS, DPS upgrades, prestiging and more to add depth which allows for steady progression towards making yourself stronger and unlocking more features. ‘Lord of the click’ has no progression, has none of those mechanics, and is solely centered around clicking on a building.

Positives:

1. A unique art style, including a cool idea of the map being ‘taken over’ by yourself or the enemy depending on who’s winning.

Real player with 4.7 hrs in game

Note: While I personally received Lord of the Click for free, it was as a gift, not a key from the publisher or anything like that.

This, as a clicker, is rather basic even with the general simple formula for these games. I can’t applaud the gameplay as anything special but it was a functional way to waste an hour or so, just collecting upgrades and taking out monsters. It’s decent to play while simply destressing or relaxing – especially with the TV on or something else on an extra monitor.
