The Wormaid

The Wormaid

Short and sweet game about finding multiple space-filling paths through a variety of interestingly-constrained rooms while enjoying pleasant conversation with a few statuesque companions and their not so statuesque King.

Good game.

Relaxing puzzles that connected me to my subconscious problem solving.

Especially delightful in the harder rooms where the solution is not obvious to your rational self but you somehow “feel” the solution.

Goose Goose Duck

Goose Goose Duck

Like most who play Goose Goose Duck, I began by playing Among Us! It was not long into playing I met others and began playing with VoiceChat, then began playing the modded versions of Among Us - before I knew it - regular/no voice Among Us suddenly seemed stale and lifeless.

And then I heard about something called ‘Proxy Chat’, which means you can talk to other players while you are on the ship, but only if you are within eyesight of someone/within their proximity. There is a program you download separate from Among Us that allowed you to use this feature… but unfortunately it was very buggy, unstable, and would never work, resulting in many people just repeating “can you hear me?” or “I cannot hear anyone.”

Suspects: Mystery Mansion

Игра с ужасным, конченным, токсичным RU(даже не CIS) комьюнити; редикми обновами; дорогим донатом но ска родная и все равно классная. Рекомендую, но только если играть через эмулятор. А если понравится то только тогда брать на ПК. ZAKARxROXIE.

Azurael’s Circle: Chapter 5

Azurael’s Circle: Chapter 5

Enjoyable game with plenty of characters, puzzles and a good story.

Real player with 1.5 hrs in game

A novel idea start to finish, and while I recommend this for anyone wanting to finish the saga of Azurael’s Circle, I feel it was not a fitting ending. It came too soon - the game play, while familiar, lacked the intensity and scariness of some of its predecessors. I would love to see an epilogue that goes further to finish the story… otherwise, the mechanics remain as awesome as they ever were. I still enjoyed the slow reveal of the light in the shadows and having to make sure I walked every square inch of each room to ensure I didn’t miss anything.

Dude, Where Is My Beer?

Dude, Where Is My Beer?

*Note that the story is unfinished. The game keeps on mentioning part 2, which is never explained whether it’s another game or an update to this game.

My playtime: 22.6h (based on Steam, 100% achievements)

Grindy Achievement(s): No.

Optional Achievement(s): Yes (~14 achievements).

Difficult Achievement(s): No (some are difficult but they should be easy once you figure out how to get them).

Intro

Have you ever try to go through several pubs just to find out that they are not selling the beer that you want? Dude, Where Is My Beer? lets you experience the suffering as you, the main character, stranded in a rest stop with a lot of varied, disgusting craft beers with no pilsner in sight.

Real player with 22.6 hrs in game

Dude, Where Is My Beer? is an oldschool (difficult and illogical) point-and-click game. Worth playing only for masochists who adore the genre’s core mechanics, and even then it might be a tad overpriced at $15 USD.

The store page gives a basic description of the game. I’d add a few notes.

Good Mourning

I am convinced this game is better than anything a million monkeys would get done given infinite time.

I certainly hope this thing will soon come out of early access, because i, not gonna lie, can see the potential there. Devs try to make walking-and-talking sim something better and broader: distinct toxic visual, trippy music, lot of interesting scenes (just need to fix all glitches and typos)

More. The Eternal Utopia

More. The Eternal Utopia

To tell the truth, this feels like a fan fiction someone plastered with supersaturated colors and one image of Thomas More. All the images seem extracted from somewhere in the internet and I can’t help but squint my eyes at the color overflow. The story is a bit random, starting in Thomas Mores' study room, but some incident throws him in the present world. There are some philosophical ideas hidden in the conversations, but I felt like being put on rails. Everything passed and after half an hour of reading dialogues and monologues, I reached an end.

GENRES: VN, Adventure, Sci-fi, Horror, Biohorror, Biopunk.

PLAYTIME: 2-10 hours

SUMMARY:

DESCRIPTION:

Deep under the surface of the dead Earth, the last haven of humanity — the City — is teeming with life. A combined effort of engineering genius and all mankind’s endeavors, a giant structure made of steel, concrete, and biopolymers, keeps the remnants of civilization one step away from complete extinction.

Josiah Kaviani, a young mathematician and statistician, starts his journey in an underground maze of cramped streets. He is talented and intelligent, but he has one terrible drawback — his unbearable loneliness.

But soon Josiah will have a fateful encounter that will turn his whole life, and his worldview, upside-down. A meeting with someone — or, perhaps, something — that is hidden in such depths that even the cyclopean City cannot reach them. Something so hidden that the very knowledge of it can be deadly. Something truly monstrous.

FEATURES:

  • A well-written world with deep lore and terminology.

  • Complex, adult characters, each with their own motives, aspirations, and skeletons in the closet.

  • A variety of complex and difficult choices that might lead the story to an unexpected end at any time.

  • A dark and frightening science fiction story based on real study.

  • A variety of different routes and endings — realistic situations that end poorly or worse.

  • An atmospheric soundtrack specially written for the game — each track is inextricably linked with the narrative.

  • A lot of high-quality art.

  • Special art gallery where the player can check their progress.

  • Some of the author’s ideas were censored as to be found too dark and cruel…

  • …but most of them remained.
