Kraken Smash: Volleyball
I love this game! It’s got the right amount of competitiveness to keep it fun and ongoing. If you like Lethal League, you’ll love playing this game with friends.
I’d love to see some sort of mini game for solo to act as a sort of tutorial but also something that allows a single player to enjoy the game more when playing by themselves. The bot is a little hard but I feel like it being hard really teaches you how to play and get better.
The only thing that truly bothers me is the specific, animated orange background that’s extremely distracting towards the bottom. It’s still playable, but it’s too similar to the ball color when it reaches the second hit. Other than that, I haven’t run into any other issues yet!

Rocket Wars
A frantic action ship shooter with a huge variety of unlocks and visuals. The weapons offer a good assortment of strategy and defense. The ship customization caters to your playstyle by offering different stats depending on how you like to blow others up. Fully able to level up and compete against bots, but as with most games, it’s way more fun with friends. A good choice if you are looking for that old arcadey feel and have a few buds over for game night.

So, I have this cousin who studies in another region of the country, and comes here almost every weekend.
I took the habit of buying local-multiplayers games just to play with him. I was checking the store for discounted local-multi games the other day, and came across this title.
First thing I thought was “Man, this looks cool and fun!” and I immediately bought it.
I can totally say this game is worth its price.
**** REVIEW ****
PROs:
- Fun gameplay and good variety of gamemodes and spaceships to use.

Tetsumo Party
Enjoyable & approachable for young children with depth & challenge enough for adults to enjoy!
I read Monster Couch’s ratings blog saying they wanted a 3+ rating and I thought, “I have a 3 and a 3+, let’s see what they can do!”
We had a lot of fun and it was simple enough that the kids could catch on quickly.
Sound quality was excellent and sound effects entertaining.
I liked that it could be cooperative or competitive so the kids could work together.
We barely scratched the surface, but I could see that there was a lot more to the game than we experienced -power-ups, achievement challenges and unlockable characters.

Worth a try (mostly with friend on a couch).
I’ve spend 5$ for the worst things in my life :D

Knight Squad
So I will start by saying this I bought this game while ago when It was on sale, and I have to say this game has far exceeded my expectation, and as a testimate I think I have a little over 30 hours logged in the game. There are a few bugs admittedly, but none that hinder the gameplay in anyway as far as I could tell. The game has a variety of gamemodes meaning you can keep the fun going for hours, and especially with friends no game is ever the same.
The single player challenged are difficult but not impossible. And I feel as though they have provided a difficult yet enjoyable challenge, and even on easy the higher level challenges require patience, and well timed strike before the enemy returns fire. I especially had trouble with the attack pattersn of the cell/plantdragon hybird challenge. There is hours upon hours of content here even with no friends, as the bots in certain games can easily compete and overwhelm the players.

Knight squad is a simple, top view, competitive combat game.
At its intitial release it already felt like a complete game, and yet I have yet to play an early access game with as much content released as frequently as knight squad.
The combat is simple, all buttons do the same thing, attack. There are, however, various weapons and powerups that spawn.
Knight Squad has a large range of game modes.
all vs all modes include:
-
Last man standing
-
A mode where points are aquired by staying alive in a central arena, and killing other players

Shank the Cop
I bought the game recently, sadly I’ts impossible to start a game.
I can launch it, but cannot host a game neither in solo, remote play together, or online.
Too bad, I asked for a refund even though the game seemed fun.
I hope you guys don’t buy it to be disappointed like I am

TOCOViX
TOCOViX is a turn-based strategy game where 2-4 players take turn to place Crosses on the game board. The goal of the game is to combine Crosses to create “Shapes”, which award points and “Stops”. The purpose of Stops is to hinder opponents by preventing them from completing Shapes. A player is unable to move when all of the boxes on the board surrounding their Crosses are already occupied. The match is over when all players are unable to move or when the last standing player has more points than the others.
Levels
Choose between 10 levels with 3 different starts each. As you progress with the game levels get more complex.
Tutorials
From the Main Menu you can access tutorials with a detailed description of every game mechanic. Each explanation is made of both text and animations and can be interrupted at any moment.
Trophies
TOCOViX comes with hard challenges which range from winning all levels against the CPU to conquering a certain number of boxes in a single match. Complete a challenge to obtain a Trophy and obtain all Trophies to unlock a special Cross!
Online
Thanks to dedicated servers you can challenge other players from around the world! Every time you complete a match online you are awarded or deducted points from your online score. Challenge other players to rise through the ranks and enter the Diamond League!
Black & White Bushido
This is a game about speed, stealth, and lighting. The lighting seems to change at random times.
You play on either the light team or the dark team. If you stand still while in your element (a light team member in the light, a dark team member in the shadow) you disappear from sight, and can hold a button to stay hidden and move slowly. But if you dash (your typical movement speed), your outline becomes a bit easier to see. I’ve found it’s easier to distinguish a moving dark team member in shadow than it was to detect a moving light team member in light, which unbalances it a bit, but it’s not too bad, and I’m sure its something the devs can easily fix.

Short version:
Worth buying at 75% off, if you have friends to play it with. Not worth full price. Don’t expect to find people to play with online.
Long:
Black & White Bushido is a game heavily based on stealth. You can play either Light (white ninjas) or Shadow (black ninja). There are four character models, though (ironically for a game so heavily based on the popular idea of ninjas), none of them are in stereotypical ninja garb. You then choose to play online or offline.
Offline, you can play either against bots or (presumably, since I’ve never tried it) couch two player. The stage is small, so there’s no need for split screen. Online, you can try to find a match, but the matchmaking is extremely barebones. I play with my fiancee, and the only way we can find each other’s matches is by coordinating over the phone. There is no indication of who else is playing, even once you’re in the match. You don’t see screen names, just “Player 1.” Also, as many other reviews have noted, there is virtually no community for this game. If you want to play against a human, bring a friend.

Pixels Guide to Staying Dead
Pixels Guide to Staying Dead was featured on my youtube channel

and now onto the short review
//Description//
Pixels Guide to Staying Dead is a local top down shooter game with an interesting twist- you must bring your opponents to 0 HP. Use your math skills to determine how to do that.
//Graphics, Sound & Artstyle//
there isn’t much to say about the graphics as it seems like any other pixel type of game. Sound is nice and found myself humming the main theme.

Star Escape
Really fun, simple competitive game. I’ve played alone and with a friend and I could see this being incredibly fun with 3-4 people. It’s not easy but not unfair, you always know what you did wrong. The only complaint i would have is initially navigating the menu to start a game was a little confusing.
