Rad Rocket
Hear ye, hear ye! Hear the news… and despair! For the robots have acquired rockets!
This is very much a fun, although frustrating game! The style is pretty memorable and reminds me of Borderlands. Controls are somewhat tricky in the beginning though I picked ‘em up quickly enough. The collisions/mouse are sometimes a bit finicky still, though maybe this is more of a ‘git gud’ aspect than an actual complaint :P
I’m definitely failing/falling often, most of the times by attempting to grab the collectible hats (which are very cute!) but the smooth smooth soundtrack helps rein in the frustration… No, seriously, the jazz is smoother than a baby’s bottom. Each time I go up again, though, I get a little bit better, a little bit faster, so I’d say this game also has lots of speed run potential! All in all, a pretty great game for a solid price!

60 minute review (in-depth review will follow after 10 hours)!
This game! It’s funny, it’s frustrating but mostly it’s frustratingly funny!
First experience:
After 60 minutes all I can say is: “FFFFFFFFFFuuuuudge” since I dropped down again after a brutal climb where I eventualy panicked from making the right move/jump!
And what do you get for it as a reward? A hat and a 300 meter drop back to the start.
Silver lining: Atleast you will develop the needed skills for that first part pretty fast.

The Henchmen
The Game
The Henchmen is a pulp-inspired, 90s fueled top-down, action retro open-world game. Set in the fictional city of New Queens, The Henchmen blends classic PS1-era games experiences, such as Driver and the first Grand Theft Auto with a modern approach, producing a unique experience.
The game is also designed from the ground up to be a co-operative experience, as the game can be played both in single-player and local 2 players co-op (both shared screen and split-screen), with story elements and missions changing depending on the number of players.
The Story
During the late sixties, the Castellano Mafia family had complete control over the City of New Queens: They Controlled the guns, drugs, and sex workers that roamed the streets.
This started to change, however, as the Homura Yakuza Syndicate started to chip away at The Castellano empire in the late 1970.
Anthony, the new leader of the family, is forced to rely on his henchmen to get back what was his, starting a bloody gang war in the streets of New Queens.
The game is set in two time periods: In the 1970s you play as Rachel, a young single mother who wants to quit the gangster life for the sake of her daughter, while also being both Castellano’s best gun and lover.
In the 1990s, you deal with the aftermath of the gang wars, as you take control of Samuel, an ex-army man who left his job to help his brother Jamal who owes money to the wrong kind of people.
What we’re planning:
-8 to 10 hours long main campaign
-Entire game playable in both singleplayer and local two players co-op
-Original Soundtrack and cutscene artwork
-Explore the city in its two time periods: A snowy 1970s rendition and a hot, more modern 1990s version.
-Indoor and outdoor fights, with both melee weapons and firearms

Rumours From Elsewhere
Deep and challenging platform action game attempting to meld Prince of Persia with a modern Roguelite. Momentum based platforming/parkour, ability based combat with character classes. Inspired level design, smooth controls, solid performance, excellent music, and imaginative worldbuilding are enough to carry the experience through a steep learning curve and significant UI deficiencies as well as occasional frustrating bugs (and sadistic gameplay systems that act like bugs).
I recommend this game if you like hard platformers with an emphasis on momentum rather than air control. Be warned, however, that the high-pressure gameplay involves features like a stamina bar (depletes with attack or dash but not jump or abilities), a timer on every level (which have randomized objectives), potions that do damage to you, weapons that kill you if you unequip them, monsters that CC you so other monsters can knockback you to the other side of the map where you fall in a lethal trap…you get the idea. This game is rewarding but punishing and a better UI would make it more comfortable.

This game is a lot of fun!
I love the look of the game, and it has a ton of character in everything you play as, kill, pick up, or read. Not to mention the sound design and music are great. Once I got used to the core mechanics, I was hooked and kept starting new runs to discover more about the game. Each of the characters feels unique, just as each of the areas are distinct, vibrant, and fun (except Misty Peaks, that place is agony).
On the downside, sometimes the platforming is just a little unwieldy. The jumping or dashing or platform grabbing seemed to occasionally glitch and caused me some significant frustration. This didn’t ruin the game by any means, but it did feel like an unfair game flaw that would crop up now and again. Also, here and there a hit box would be in dire need of updating.

Super Woden GP
I bought Woden GP a few months back and was thoroughly disappointed by it. The driving physics felt too floaty and most importantly, the camera was positioned in such a way that you could never see what corner was coming ahead. Since these flaws make a top-down racing game largely unplayable, I uninstalled the game and got a refund immediately.
I was hesitant about buying Super Woden GP and felt sure that I will be applying for a refund within the hour. It turned out that I played the game for nearly 30 hours and didn’t have the patience to write a review for it, at least not before I finished the campaign mode.

I love this genre and I have been playing isometric racing games since arcade era. Super Woden GP is quite good and it’s a wastly improvement over “normal” Woden GP. I have tried many modern isometric car racing games. In my opinion, among all of these racers, Super Woden GP is one of the best.
Graphics and art direction is very good and very fitting for this genre. Graphics filters are nice. Music is also quite good. Controls and game play is much better than the developers previous Woden GP game. There are many cars to select from and there are also enough tracks to race.

Megabyte Punch
Megabyte Punch is an awesome platformer with 4 player versus and coop, highly customizable characters, tons of secrets in maze like levels with tough bosses all in a Super Smash Bros style Brawler.
The main game is fairly short, There are only 6 levels, But each level has 3 parts and each level has a boss and there is a final boss, So this amounts to 18 levels, 7 bosses and a whole lot of unlockables to find. All levels are full with secrets and getting certain parts helps you get to previously unreachable areas.

As someone who’s clocked more time into this than I can arguably say many people have, and stands as the only game in my library that I’ve 100% completed, I’d probably sound just as you’d expect when I say that Megabyte Punch is just good. Just very, very, veryveryvery good. Don’t even let the 100% completion, or the 50 hours, be what convinces you. Hell, don’t even let my review be what convinces you, either! I’m not exactly an unbiased source of information here!
(tl;dr at the bottom.)
Now, before anything else, I’ll mention off the bat that I got the code for my copy of the game off of a Steam friend; looking back, though, I’d say that I’d have bought this regardless, and maybe some more copies for friends as well. take with that information what you will, as maybe not having paid for it myself’s painted my opinion a little.
