Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince

Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince

Playing Trine 4 right after Finishing T1,2 and 3.. The revert and a step back to Trine 2 design rejuvenate my faith for the game.

First of all, the concerning about Trine 4 continuing what they did in Trine 3 is gone. Trine 3 never existed in Trine 4 universe other than the inherrited assets and ideas (which also ruined Trine 4 in a way).

The Devs start a new story in Trine 4 with nothing related to Trine 3. Trine 3 never existed. You don’t get to see the ending of Trine 3, but you also don’t have to worry about getting half a game continued from a previous badly made one. This here is a full game of its own.

achievements

easy 100% - achievements order you to either finish a level or collect all obtainables. plenty of guides, plus it isn’t hard to find them on your own. DLC doesn’t contain any achievements, so you may skip it and still get 100% (unlike in Trine 2)

Trine 2 or Trine 4?

any of them will be good. Trine 4 has better graphics, polished HUD and better UX; Trine 2 has a better puzzle-combat flow. in other words one game nailed the presentation, another got gameplay right - but either of them will be a nice choice. I prefer Trine 2, tho

Short, but enjoyable. The difficulty gradually increases but it never really gets tough.

Liquid Sunshine

Liquid Sunshine

(The Xbox One controller was ignored on both linux and W10, so I played with a keyboard.)

I wasn’t overly impressed at first, but it grew on me.

I liked the visuals of course, then after a couple of chapters I started enjoying the story, the mechanics, the music…

The puzzles are good, which is paramount, and they keep introducing new elements along the way. On the easy side of the spectrum, although I suspect the presence of a few challenging secrets.

In the end, it’s a nice little game.

A bit glitchy; nothing that hurts the gameplay. For example, crouching will work fine in narrow tunnels, but the character will occasionally pass through the mountain when backtracking through some of these tunnels.

A Black and White, adventure, action packed world splashed with cut scenes styilized as pages from a comic book. The characters are quite interesting with their own abilities - which can also help other characters in the group - and the premise of the game is a peculiar yet somehow satisfying one.

Just a shame I don’t actually like “liquid sunshine” myself, it never did taste quite right…

I’m not that far into the game just yet, but I would like to know why certain things happened

! i.e. the honey was stolen in the first place. That needs answering, but I’m hoping I’ll get my answer as I delve further into the game itself.

Updated English version for my dude:)

It happened one year before Shan Gui.

This work introduces the warm daily life of Hejia, and Jiayun who’d become the four sister of the He family. The scenery in Nanjing is as awesome as ever.

Six main options, three branches, the farewell of Jia Yun, the fantasy world of He Jia, the deep love of Yang Qin.

All the plots are about the embarrassment of the Jiayun diary. At the beginning, the news of the death of Jia Yun was revealed. After three routes, the peaks and turns, this is actually a warm story tells friendship and family-ship between the girls.

Klang 2

Playing this game for 59 hours, I definitely can say I adore this game. Being the first person to review this game (probably), along with getting the first two PFC’s on 60hz on two of the hardest songs in the game on fast mode (in beta release), the gameplay is insanely addicting and the music is a real banger.

The gameplay is incredibly simple with only swipes, taps, and holds, but has a fairly deep and challenging execution, especially on keyboard and mouse. Fast mode accentuates this even more, with tight timings and fast-approaching notes.

I have been waiting for this game to come out for five years, and did it meet my expectations?

holy fuck yes it did

Klang 1 held a very special place in my heart for mostly sentimental reasons, along with it feeling like a one of a kind experience. I have no idea how to properly express how that game makes me feel, but it was incredible. However, it lacks polish; a playthrough without encountering any bugs whatsoever is probably impossible.

Skate City

Skate City

The game is great, for someone like me who has always been addicted to skateboarding.. If you are a skater you will play this game all day. If you are a gamer who wants a challenge this game wont last long. I think its the best skate game on PC even with how basic it is. My only problem is that the game is lacking some basic tricks such as board slides, lip slides, feebles. The game is new and cheap so lets hop they keep up with updates so ones day the game will have more but I see endless opportunity especially with the PC community, if they could add a way the community can make levels it would be great. Some flip tricks are missing as well, laserflips are missing and 360 shuvits. overall Id say for the price its a must have.

this is such a good game the style is clean and visually pleasing and all the tricks have such nice flow along with really nice smooth animations however this is probably just me cuss my laptop is a potato but if i do anything else besides free skate i get like 2 frames a second not even this happens when i do any challenges and if i try and record a video idk why this would be but ya my only suggestion is abit of optimisation with that but once again its probably cuz i have a potato computer i highly recommend you download this game

Dune Sea

Dune Sea

A relaxing side scrolling game set in a visually attractive world, with a soundtrack that promotes a calm and casual play style.

Controls feel more natural using a controller as opposed to a keyboard and are indeed solid. The only issue I had during play was the camera placement, which is a small negative and doesn’t take away from what this game is about.

Check my experience here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUfIURFSeQs

Dune Sea is a wholesome, zen little side-scrolling game where players take on the role of a Goose trying not to fucking die, well at the same time bringing back some life to a desolate desert.

The soundtrack is helps me get in the gliding mood, the controls are floaty but not too unruly and it’s got a quite beautiful low-poly world. If you’re looking for a game to kill an evening just zoning out and flying this is your game.
