This is shit - you take out the first target - you can’t exit down the side of the mountain where the path is? You can’t climb or get through trees, jump or scramble over rocks. The enemy can climb the slope, but you can’t climb down?? You have to go through the enemy??? Like you would in real life?? I mean how many rounds does it take to kill one person?? Even a shot to the head and they are still firing at you!!!!!!!!!! Where’s the logic???

It’s like one of those really frustrating old style games where the enemy can shoot round corners or see you long before you see them, even when you are in cover - I mean really??? Sometimes you can get stuck on an element of the jungle like behind a tree or a rock and then its like you are caught on it????? You can go half way through a rock as nothing is solid but yet you can’t shoot the heavy gunner through the trees, as the space between the trees is solid???? Good try but so far off its untrue!!!

To gamers: The game has an amazing story line tied to a challenging, I mean, really challenging mission flow. Well worth the price for a piece of action influenced by the war against terrorisms in Sri Lanka. Tips: If you are a stealth lover, use the environment to your advantage. If you go guns blazing, aim for the head. For the heavy gunner, aim for legs. Play in “Easy”, because the game is full of surprises even in easy. Play through one time on easy and then try the higher difficulties.

To developers: I can not thank you enough for the amazing, breath taking, master piece you have developed. Finally, the battles of our heroes will live on, specially thanks to the amazing challenging mission structure. I played on easy and still I was beaten countless times by the AI. Excellent work for an early access game. I could give more insights on what bugs / things I found that could use your attention. Also, the whole live gameplay can be found on Part 1 (https://youtu.be/ZkDwFmVL_9c ) & Part 2 (https://youtu.be/x5ew2167kU8 ) if it helps your QA. I played on 4K Epic settings and felt there is more room for the texture, color and resolution improvements in both cut scenes and game. Waiting for your next game to purchase :) Keep it up…!

Absolutely loved this game! Great narrative and it was not what I expected at all in the best way! Thought it was going to be just a bunch of hide and seek but I really enjoyed the story along with it. I don’t usually enjoy stealth games because I just don’t have the patience but this one I would highly recommend! Great jump scares in this one as well! A+

Played a few hours of this game. Haven’t yet completed it but I enjoyed my time playing it so far.

It does have some very random jump scares (Flashing white light with quick narrative about whats going on in the story)

I feel like it can be scary at some points but once you get used to the environment, you calm down a bit.

The Monsters/Ghosts design are fairly simple so once you come across them a few times you get to know their mechanics and can avoid them quite easily I’d say. They do give you a good chase which does get the adrenaline going.

Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines

Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines

Background:

Purchased as part of a bundle from Bundle Stars. I played the first two games in the series to death back when they came out.

Impressions:

Commandos stands tall among action strategy games. It was a simple formula: a set of men are dropped into a mission, each with a certain set of skills and using them in concert you dismantle the enemies defences and confound their long term goals.

While the games does lean heavily on the two most useful characters (Tiny and the Spy) the situations force you to think creatively and apart from a few small instances you are completely free to tackle the mission as you see fit.

Hey everyone and this is my review about the game!

This is a Strategy Stealth world war 2 game.

Interface/Menu/Settings

There are some Resolution sizes.

The sound volume has a slidebar.

There is a manual/introduction in the game.

There is a tutorial in the game. (for Each commando and basic)

Multiplayer requires IP and Port Forwarding. THIS STILL WORKS!

About the game.

You play with a couple of commandos and each commando has their own equipment and skills. The game is very difficult by itself and their is even a difficulty level settings too. Just if it is too easy. There are 20 mission/Maps and You have to complete each mission by fulfilling the subjective. Destroying things, to freeing, capturing and so go on. Enemy soldiers/vehicles has an eye of sight which is marked with Dark green and light green. Dark green means you have to crouch or otherwise the enemy unit will see you. Light green he spotted you and could fire on you. Your commandos are able to take hostage by enemy Sergeants (usually patrolling with units). There is a chance that they will rise alarm if they see you, if that happends. You might load game. Because things will get 10x harder if they have raised their alarm. Whenever a mission starts you will be told what you have to do and you get some hints too.

Short version: 83%

Beyond the Call of Duty is like an expert mode for Behind Enemy Lines. There are only a handful missions, but they are all incredibly long and incredibly difficult. If you want a great and challenging game, look no further.

Long version:

Commandos: Beyond the Call of Duty is a stand-alone expansion pack for the critically acclaimed classic isometric strategy/stealth game, Behind Enemy Lines.

Like the base game, it features a group of commandos in eight scenarios, who must complete a set of objectives– mostly sabotage– deep inside enemy territory. Although all missions are loosely based on historical events, there is no actual plot, only short briefings.
