I can see the point of all those bad reviews that has spread around the internet. The game costs too much. Lacks of contents. Netcode isn’t the greatest. No voice acting.
But let’s see the positive side of this things:
Working on a videogame it’s not an easy task. Working on a game and supporting it with costant and huge updates is much much more then I ever wanted in Super Smash bros. Ultimate, which I play it as a competitive player. At least since before NASB launch. And for smash you all fucking payed it for a limited edition + 2 DLC pack. For sure. Most of you. It’s something like 130 euros. And you can’t even dash without lagging for half a second.

SPRAWL
Escape the walled city and take on the militarized government of the sprawl. Fueled by the blood of your enemies and a mysterious voice in your head, make your way towards the spire to topple whatever lays within.
SPRAWL is a hardcore retro FPS set in an endless cyberpunk megapolis. Here the streets are your playground. The dark alleys and dilapidated apartments are all surfaces compatible with your “icarus” cybernetic implant. This implant allows you to perform gravity defying acrobatic wall-running maneuvers. Your enemies, the militarized police of the sprawl, stand no chance. Not only that, but their blood fuels this same implant, vastly enhancing your reaction time. On command you can enter a state in which even bullets move at a snail’s pace. A vast arsenal of weapons lie at your disposal, the armies of the corporate government are endless, but be warned…

WEBCUP SOCCER
WEBCUP SOCCER is an arcade soccer game with old-school gameplay, fast-paced graphics, responsive controls, accurate ball physics and online multiplayer.
Features / Roadmap
Online Multiplayer
WEBCUP SOCCER is all about playing online. While, in the beginning, WCS will just offer online play of two players against each other, my goal is to add various additional modes, such as playing with up to 8 (or even 20?) players in any vs/co-op combinations, or join a match as a spectator only.
Fast-paced Gameplay
WCS is not a simulation but an arcade “easy to learn, hard to master” approach to playing soccer on a computer. When designing WCS, it is crucial to me that controls always feel utmost responsive, and that you would never have to wait for any animation/script to finish before your desired action commences.
Responsive Controls
All your beautiful dribbling, passes and goals should be a direct result of you controlling the game, pressing the right buttons at the right time and for the correct amount of time, rather than random effects or pre-scripted events.
“Easy to Learn, Hard to Master”
Simulating the complex player movements, feints, tricks, dribbling and kicks, which are part of real-life soccer, leads to very complex controller layouts with lots of buttons to use and dozens of combinations which are hard to master, requiring a lot of practice and making soccer simulations quite hard to pick up.
WCS is different. I won’t even try to simulate the complexity of the Beautiful Game. Rather, I concentrate on the bare essentials: dribbling, passing and kicking. That’s why WCS only uses (about) 3 buttons and one stick.
Realistic Ball Physics
The ball being the central piece of the game, it actually was the very first thing I started to implement years ago. It’s essential to me to have authentic, plausible and smooth ball physics, as a backbone of exiting, controllable and fun gameplay.
Strong AI
A powerful and challenging AI is crucible for single player matches or co-op matches against a CPU-controlled team. As the goalies (for now) are always CPU-controlled, their AI code is especially important to me: a strong and plausible goalie behavior is crucial in matches of human players against each other: It’s very frustrating if one’s goalie concedes a goal in a buggy, implausible way — so that’s something I try hard to avoid.
Limited Scope
As a solo indie dev, I do have to limit the scope of the game, otherwise it might take even more years before you could play it…
So, please be aware that WCS is all about simple and casual online matches. There will be no cups, leagues or even a career mode.
I really hope to create a fun, worth-to-play online arcade soccer game with that old-school vibe!
Top Billiards
You can play 2 player local. I don’t believe you can play online. Though the game play itself is not bad, the concept of single player game is bad. You start with 6000 coins and can play a single match betting 0, 100, 500 or 1000 coins. If you win, you get more coins and can buy better looking cues. If you eventually lose all your coins, then you will need to in purchase coins. There’s no point of this game, there’s no tournaments or multiple opponents. Opponents always about the same ability, they’re pretty good.

Counter-Strike
Great game. Today I have remembered what it’s like to play 16x16 and it’s really really fun. Shooting mechanics feel very smooth. Love it. I guess I understand why people still play this game.

This game takes me back to being a little kid visiting the Atlantic City boardwalk. At the time they had “casinos” like these with fun games to play for tickets or tokens that could be cashed in for prizes. It probably cost my parents a small fortune to win items that would be dollar store quality today, but I loved the experience.
So step off the boardwalk into a tiny casino arcade. The coin pusher was my absolute favorite, and realistic to what I remember. I really like the overall feel and physics of that one. It feels the most authentic. Things like the stacker machine would have been after my time, but that was also realistic, at least compared to the ones I’ve played in VR.

Quake III Arena
Fucking. Hell. Yes. The Arena is a cruel, cruel Mistress - she will build you up, only to break you, & just when you think you’re rid of her, she’ll drag you back into her clutches.
In short, for those of you who are woefully unaware, Quake 3 is hands down the pinnacle of the “Old School” ’90s FPSs designed by the original id Software team, using an entirely different Gameplay model than the Modern FPSs of CoD & BF. A more common term for it is “Twitch Gaming” due to the extreme level of reaction time required to truly match up against not only other players, but also the Bots. To quote Dark Souls - “Prepare to Die”, because you will, over, & over, & over.
