Midnight Driver
At first play this game wasn’t very intoxicating but after unlocking the first car and first map and learning how well the controls felt even on a keyboard I think this game is really amazing. I see a lot of potential in this game and that is in no way an indirect way of stating the devs haven’t already done and absolutely fantastic job, There are still many things I would like to see such as car tuning and/or colouring as well as some music to race with.

Pc was made for games like these. If you play these games with a competitive spirit there’s no time for you to back down. It seems simple and easy to pass on from its indie background but it really wants to create a fun racing game that takes you down fast paced mountain passes that leave you begging for a faster time with each run. Playing online takes it to a new level, whether that involves racing for blood with your car on the line, drifting in tandem as you barely trade paint, or causing complete chaos as you dive into a hairpin to flip your opponent’s car. Of course things can be added, but I don’t think that makes this game bad. The tracks each have their unique feel and makes mastering your favorite car even more fun as you take it to each mountain, although I’ll always keep Haru close to my heart. I want to spit on those that left bad reviews, because each one had a worse excuse than my steam refunds. If you want to see a game grow you need to give it love and support, just like the stylish cars you’ll drive in this game. The physics are smooth and intuitive making this a great time killer if you want to get in some practice runs on a rainy day, or spend all night practicing the same down hill to break a friend’s record… you don’t feel jipped by constant bugs, as they’re being fixed over time. So if you like racing, cars, drifting, breathing, or getting your adrenaline rush as you crush records buy this game. Just do it already c’mon… seriously I played all night c’mon… c’mon

Hey! If you enjoy my reviews, follow my curator page [url]here![/url] I am an independent Curator providing reviews and insights to the games that need the spotlight! Thank you! :)
For all of us that comb our first grey hairs and love racing games, there was a golden age that we remember fondly and that’s when SNK published racing games for their console, the Neo Geo. Games like Over Top (the spiritual successor of the legendary Thrash Rally) and Neo Drift Out came as a breeze of fresh air on a console that was particularly known for its fighting games. Also, one of the arcade kings of the era was World Rally, from Zigurat. These games incorporated a very characteristic isometric view and were known for their excitement, full of adrenaline infused speed that made each race exciting and unforgettable.

```A recommendation with some reservation.
Pros:
- Pleasant 90's PlayStation1-like presentation
- Great arcady music
- Great announcer voice actress (she needs more lines)
- The drifting sounds like Ridge Racer :D (overall the sound effects are pretty good)
- The cars look bright and colorful, also much like Ridge Racer or Auto Modelista (the look of the cars makes this game attractive at first glance)
## The Henchmen
![](https://cdn.akamai.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/1431750/extras/fighting.gif?t=1637604274)
**The Game**
The Henchmen is a pulp-inspired, 90s fueled top-down, action retro open-world game. Set in the fictional city of New Queens, The Henchmen blends classic PS1-era games experiences, such as Driver and the first Grand Theft Auto with a modern approach, producing a unique experience.
The game is also designed from the ground up to be a co-operative experience, as the game can be played both in single-player and local 2 players co-op (both shared screen and split-screen), with story elements and missions changing depending on the number of players.
**The Story**
During the late sixties, the Castellano Mafia family had complete control over the City of New Queens: They Controlled the guns, drugs, and sex workers that roamed the streets.
This started to change, however, as the Homura Yakuza Syndicate started to chip away at The Castellano empire in the late 1970.
Anthony, the new leader of the family, is forced to rely on his henchmen to get back what was his, starting a bloody gang war in the streets of New Queens.
The game is set in two time periods: In the 1970s you play as Rachel, a young single mother who wants to quit the gangster life for the sake of her daughter, while also being both Castellano’s best gun and lover.
In the 1990s, you deal with the aftermath of the gang wars, as you take control of Samuel, an ex-army man who left his job to help his brother Jamal who owes money to the wrong kind of people.
**What we’re planning:**
-8 to 10 hours long main campaign
-**Entire game playable in both singleplayer and local two players co-op**
-Original Soundtrack and cutscene artwork
-Explore the city in its two time periods: A snowy 1970s rendition and a hot, more modern 1990s version.
-Indoor and outdoor fights, with both melee weapons and firearms
## World Racing '95
A great game for its small price !
Visually, WR95 is somewhat similar to Virtua Racing Deluxe on 32X. I wouldn't say it plays anywhere near as well as that game, but the driving mechanics are still decent. Collision penalties are the biggest issue right now, but the developer has promised to improve that aspect of the game in a later update. All-in-all, it's a nice little throwback arcade racer with a very palatable price tag.
Update: Collision penalties have been reduced. No more spinning out upon any contact whatsoever.
A game suitable for those who love arcade games and nostalgia.
There are 5 different maps and 6 different vehicles in total.
With the points you earn, you can unlock new cars and maps.
We also added a small combination cheat so that you can pass all the levels. (Use the arrow keys)
![Super Woden GP](https://cdn.cloudflare.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/1534180/header.jpg "")
## Super Woden GP
I bought Woden GP a few months back and was thoroughly disappointed by it. The driving physics felt too floaty and most importantly, the camera was positioned in such a way that you could never see what corner was coming ahead. Since these flaws make a top-down racing game largely unplayable, I uninstalled the game and got a refund immediately.
I was hesitant about buying Super Woden GP and felt sure that I will be applying for a refund within the hour. It turned out that I played the game for nearly 30 hours and didn't have the patience to write a review for it, at least not before I finished the campaign mode.
I love this genre and I have been playing isometric racing games since arcade era. Super Woden GP is quite good and it's a wastly improvement over "normal" Woden GP. I have tried many modern isometric car racing games. In my opinion, among all of these racers, Super Woden GP is one of the best.
Graphics and art direction is very good and very fitting for this genre. Graphics filters are nice. Music is also quite good. Controls and game play is much better than the developers previous Woden GP game. There are many cars to select from and there are also enough tracks to race.
![Drift Racer](https://cdn.cloudflare.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/1389040/header.jpg "")
## Drift Racer
Not a bad driftracer with good graphics and music however it can be very repetitive for most people.
But the controls are very nice on the Xbox 360 controller (they fixed that issue long time ago)
I would to see a top view that's a little bit further in the sky cause all that turning makes me a little bit dizzy.
Also some extra soundtracks.
And give us achievements.
But for the rest it's an ok game.
![Ragtag Racing](https://cdn.cloudflare.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/1694620/header.jpg "")
## Ragtag Racing
Ragtag Racing is a cheap, small file size, racing game on Steam, it is a super simple 3D Motorsport type game.
You can play in two separate views, in the driver's seat, or from above/behind. I have never liked playing games from the driver's perspective, so straight away I chose the above/behind viewpoint.
Race on a track, try to get from the back of the pack to the front and progress to the next track. Sounds simple! Well, it is and it isn't. The most important part of the game is your fuel level. Run out of fuel and you are done.
Its a pretty fun game, the npc's ram you a lot tho and its a good game to play when bored and you have nothing else to play. Game is kinda hard aswell.
## Carmageddon 2: Carpocalypse Now
https://youtu.be/UYF1dIMyKfQ
**Intro**
Loved this game for ages, but the flaws are evident and have really stopped me from enjoying it as much lately. It's unique and you're not going to get a similar experience from many other games. If it weren't for the gameplay flaws,
this game would be my second favourite Carmageddon, but they're just too big to miss.
**The Great:**
++Destruction looks amazing. It's as good as Max Damage.
++Base gameplay is so much fun. Like the first game, except improved in every single way (except where it didn't)
This game is the most epically entertaining way to waste your readily rather spent hours of a short life. What makes this game good then:
- Still pretty nice damage physics. Seriously. Game is nearly two decades old yet has dynamic deformation of cars, no premodeled damage. You can even split vehicles in half, at any angle..and yet even keep driving depending on how you got split. It's also cool how your driving is handicapped by getting damage. If your engine takes damage, car accelerates slower. If powertrain takes damage, your car will start braking randomly inadvertently. If your wheels get damage, they'll wobble and make your car lean constantly to the given side when driving and steering will become harder. If suspension takes damage, your car will steer randomly on it's own.
