Russian Reality
On the whole, it’s not a bad game. Good combat system, there are four main characters to play as. The presence of bosses is nice. And the cherry on the cake is a very rich storyline, with side quests that depend on your choice. Recommended for purchase !

Cool game in which you need to fight drunks, complete tasks and complete the story. The game has many locations, skill leveling of the character and many different chips.

Edna & Harvey: Harvey’s New Eyes
I didn’t much enjoy Edna & Harvey: The Breakout but I did enjoy Edna & Harvey: Harvey’s New Eyes at least for the most part.
The graphics of this game fall somewhere between E&H: The Breakout and Deponia. I didn’t care for either of those styles to be honest but Deponia’s style grew on me. E&H’s style… well it never did. This game is only slightly better in that it’s a slight modification to the style of The Breakout and that it’s a much higher resolution. In terms of animating, backgrounds, and transitions… everything is great. Animations were smooth and simple, backgrounds were interesting and surprisingly detailed, and transitions were smooth. There were however a few instances of characters or parts of characters disappearing despite still being active hotspots. Such as Capu (the boy who stands in the hall near the gargoyles) being completely invisible most of the time till he gave me the love letter to deliver. There was also the bartender’s head disappearing after drinking the volcano drink. Other than having to pixel hunt the hotspot a little bit to interact this didn’t effect gameplay.

A great continuation to the first game.
Despite the line above giving you a bit of a hint, I thought it worth mentioning that despite Steam saying that “Edna & Harvey: The Breakout” was released after “Edna & Harvey: Harvey’s New Eyes”, this is infact wrong and resulted in me playing the two in the wrong order. This game is the sequel. They follow each other very loosely in terms of story but I think playing them in order would be more enjoyable.
First of all, compared to the previous game, there was a big improvement between the two. You can really tell that Daedalic Entertainment had the means to step their game up. There was a bit of a time gap between the two and it shows.

They may have put on a few pounds and lost some of their graying hair, but their rocking power and sex appeal are still… Uh, as questionable as ever? But this time they’re sure to make it big. Red Comrades 2: For the Great Justice. Reloaded
A poor attempt to cash in on the success of the previous game, about 25% of the locations and dialogs are from the first game, when I started playing at first I though I’m playing the first game again. puzzles are TOO easy to the point where you just need to visit all the locations a couple of times and youre done. The story line is very weak, basically one of the heroes gets some brain implant and they travel to the future to get it removed via plastic surgery, thats it. Most of the characters are reused, there are maybe 3 new characters in the entire game. The game itself is very short,

This game is more of add-on, than of sequel in a full meaning of this word. Much of game’s sprites vere reused, especially in the first location, but some new characters appears as jusk reskins of those from the “Red Comrades 1 ”. Also, albeit this game is stand-alone, it’s much shorter than the previous insallement, and can be easlily done in under in 50 minutes.
Conceptually, this game is mainly focused on how in the late 1990s developers saw “the land of the free” throught the prism of the Soviet folklore. They were also making fun of some “western realities”, that have been a fashion in Russia back then. Previous installement seemed to reflect briefly the same theme whilst our stay on the “Brothel level”, and this adds more.

If you are just playing through the in-game story and nothing else, then you’re doing it wrong. Read this review.
Most players will play through the story and call it a day, so I will let those players review that Story Mode aspect of the game in their own reviews. Though the story is fun, it’s not what makes this game special. For me, the appeal of the game is allowing yourself to sink into and be immersed in the living and breathing game world and not fight to escape it. I had an absolute blast waking up, exploring, unlocking locations, making money by working shifts at the restaurant, upgrading and decorating my apartment, sitting on the couch watching awesome shows on my flatscreen TV, hanging out at the Jazzy Java Joint for a cup of coffee, and just living it out in the city. Once you understand this and immerse yourself, you’ll realize that the main storyline was just an extra side mission and the real game is everything besides it, not the other way around.

There is a review for this game that seems to be a negative one and also happens to have a lot of upvotes. This review complains that this game is not how its demo was. That this game went from a horror diner dash game, to a horror diner dash game with story and added mechanics. Because of this, it wasn’t a game they expected to play at release and it sucks.
The only thing they got right in their review is that this game does not have a “slow burn” horror approach, which I agree it doesn’t and that kind of sucks. Other than that though… This review is wrong. This review is a hot take. This reviewer has terrible opinions. Everyone that upvoted that particular review also have terrible opinions. Maybe my judgement is affected by playing too many terrible raycast engine maker games lately, but I don’t think this game deserves all the flack it’s getting in the reviews section here. Yes, it has problems, but for the price (especially on sale) it’s a decent classic Quake-wannabe FPS shooter.

Book of Adventum
Book of Adventum is an indie action-adventure FPS. The game takes place in a steam-powered world where the player assumes the role of a handyperson tasked to repair a malfunctioning beacon. Book of Adventum combines the time-honored problem solving of adventure FPS games - shooting people in the face and getting through not-so-difficult puzzles - with metaphysical ponderings, which you can happily ignore.
